Indychuck 0 Posted June 5, 2002 I think this is a rather offensive poll. I'm all for free speech but this is bad taste. Not to mention Jap is a racial slur.

FetishFool 0 Posted June 5, 2002 Well you can't predict what will happen in the future. But in in WW2, Russian soldiers raped 80% of the German women in the country. Ages of the women varied from 8 years old to 80 years old. Elderly women were reported to willingly spread their legs for the soldiers, and cheering for more sex. While younger women screamed all night long while getting raped. If I can find an article to support this, I'll be sure to post it.
Tex -USMC- 0 Posted June 5, 2002 This poll is in bad taste, even without factoring in his use of racial slurs. I would reccomend that noone votes or posts in this topic, unless of course you want to voice your digust

Wobble 1 Posted June 5, 2002 I agree, totally pathetic and rude poll.. but to answer: ya never know, all ya can do is look at history, mainly WW2.. so ya have: 1: Japan, systematic rape of entire chinese city, not to mention joyful slaughter (for fun and sport) of POWs and countless women and children.. 2: USSR: for rape of german women, done in retailition for the havoc German infintry reeped on russian civilians.. 3: germany: see above, no so much rape as systematic slaughter of non-coms, plus obviousley the holocaust... of course ALL of these countries have changed by a large degree.. but my bet would be on china.. seeing as how they have a history of using their military against citizens in cruse and violent ways and the long long history of human rights abuse, if chinese giv and mil treats their own people so horribly one can only imagine how they would treat an adversary... of course numerous 3rd world shitpots are FAR worse on scale, but im talking sheer numbers.. Wobble 1 Posted June 5, 2002 it also cracks me up that so many people (2 total fucking idiots) voted the US.. we refuse to give a few dozen suspected terrorists and taleban nice cool water, gatorade, soft beds and AC, their own spiritual advisors, korans...etc etc and the entire world throws a fit.. like we are hanging them by their nutts. just shows the Forum isnt down on its imbicile stock
Hasha 2 Posted June 5, 2002 wholeheartedly agree with wobble. Maybe we should ban new members from joining the forums, our current community is large enough and at least pple are sensible enough not to post shit like that. Mods please warn that guy or BAN HIM, this topic really offends me.
Paratrooper 0 Posted June 5, 2002 The US Army disgraced its self in actions against Korean and Viatnamese civillians. No matter the rights and wrongs of the war a professional army can't hide behind rhetoric. I'm not setting up the US as monsters, but thay have commited their share of crimes. All the above nations have commited reprehensable deeds at some point ie. Germans and Soviets on the eastern front, Japanese and Chinese in a bloody war, and also the British against the Afrikaans and Indians, although on a lesser scale. So infact none are in a position to pontificate.

One was the execution of about 300 Koreans under a bridge in S.Korea during the Korean war. The other is when a company of U.S. soldiers went into a small Vietnamese village and slaughtered everyone in it, women, children, seniors, and all. Most of the participants got off scott free. I'm sure (and I hope) that those were isolated incidents. Tyler

Satchel 0 Posted June 5, 2002 I distinguish between atrocities in an armed conflict; individual caused and those following a political guideline, which one you mean? If it´s the latter you are asking for, than it´s likely the U.S having committed the most acts against non combatants in recent conflicts, fully backuped by UNO and NATO. ralphwiggum 6 Posted June 5, 2002 ok..billy22, let me give you some tip regarding this forum. we can talk all we want as long as it's not flammable material. a good example of flammable material would be: "US Rox! EU sux!" or "EU Ownz US!"..in other words comparing entities and trying to boast who is better. to certain degree this is acceptable, but it usually progresses to flame war ending in ways like this: "F!@# you EU/US!" So that's why mods here are somewhat vigilant. We don't want this place to be a place of flames but respecting each other and their ideas. also, I really hate to see word 'Jap' this is a derogatory term for Japaneses and you using it is not looking good. Since you can't modify poll contents, you might be let go this time, but next time, be sensitive. Also, US soldier did rape and kill a girl in Kosovo. billy22 0 Posted June 5, 2002 ///Also, US soldier did rape and kill a girl in Kosovo/// thats all you got? reread my statement,"whole or large portion of the poplution with the women being singling out and rape or gang rape." no offense to any of the japanese ofp fan (if i could edit the poll i would)or any other nationality alright. ralphwiggum 6 Posted June 5, 2002 if you are talking about policy-based, systematic assualt on female, then Kosovo gets my vote for recent, Japan and Russia for first half of the century. but then again, you seem to be implying that 'US did not do this' and try to promote that US is better then the rest of the global community. US soldiers aren't supermen or angels. There were instances of rape in Vietnam and WW 2, I know about that for sure. I doubt Korea was different. Maybe not in the same scale as other armies but it has happened. This thread is pointless. Where there is an army, there has been atrocities. (Rape, murder, abuse) "During WW II the US Army executed nearly 300 of its own men. In the European Theater alone, the US Army sentenced 443 American soldiers to death. Most of these sentences were for the rape and or murder of civilians." http://www.mrfa.org/vnstats.htm
