OA campaign Faces?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone!

Does anyone know how to put BIS campaign's characters faces (Herrera, Drake, Pierce or Graves)?

I've try "Face01" to "Face99", but I didn't found it...

Thanks for the help...

Don't think you can.

I think the faces are locked to the actual model of the unit and not available for other units.

Celery,

I tried your script and it is very helpful. But I have difficulties using a few of the faces from your viewer in my actual player profile. Perhaps I am making a mistake, so this is what i have done:

When I edit "Face73" into my profile config, it reverts to standard face. This particular face doesn't seem to be in the list of faces of the ingame profile editor. (I have ArmA2, OA, BAF, and PMC installed. I don't use a custom face.)

One of the other faces seems to have a different number. I started your viewer, found a face I liked and then I edited my player profile with the little viewer that comes with the game. Then I opened the profile with a text editor and found that the number of the profile differed from the number shown in your viewer. Unfortunately i don't remember which number it was, so this might be impossible for you to verify.

Suggestions:

- I don't know if this is possible, but could you include the names of the faces in your viewer? Then it would be easier to identify them in the ingame profile editor.

- Could you choose a character wearing a short-sleeved shirt? Then we could see the camo effect on the fore-arms and hands of the character.

Are you sure you're not going back to the ingame profile (that can't show faces outside the list) and pressing ok? When you've edited a face into the text file, confirm the change in the mission editor after restarting the game.

I suppose it's possible to make the script dig up the profile names but frankly I can't be bothered to improve it beyond my own needs. You can delete the guy in the mission and place a sleeveless unit with the same name to have it show arm textures.

Thanks for yor reply. I have not tested the new profile in the mission editor, I have just checked the ingame player profile editor. So i will try the mission editor, too.
