I have 104 mods/addons/islands loading, try using the Six Updater, I use it and its a great for sorting your mods out etc, it does come up that the target line is too long but SU sorts it out, then there is no problem loading however many mods you want.. Put everything into a 'preset' and away you go.. Six Updater .
no use for a name 0 Posted October 22, 2011 Like HR4 said there's several game launchers that fix this problem. I use ArmaII Launcher by Alpinestars and it works great (there are several others I can't remember off the top of my head)

I'm glad you edited it 'tk1139' I have intractable pain caused through emergency surgery I had last year, its left me disabled… Its unpleasant, in-fact its very unpleasant, the doctor and pain clinic I attend said I should have a hobby, Arma 2 is it. I’m on my electric adjustable bed most of the time trying to find a position I can lay on my back in that’s reasonably comfortable, the computers over the bed... The game is excellent, it gives me a focus, although I can’t concentrate as well as I used to, this forum is very good, the mods, addons and new islands are great, the chat is entertaining and very helpful. On the whole it’s a good hobby, I enjoy playing the game and reading the forum... I don't enjoy reading comments like the ones you retracted, they are just not needed, I think you realised that... Bitterness, hate and anger can eat away at you.. If I were you I’d leave it behind, for your own benefit.. Life is just too short... .

EDIT: Here it is forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=89731&highlight=Spirited+machine It will help you to manage your mods. Gunter Severloh 4071 Posted October 23, 2011 Hi tk1138, What types of mods are you running by the way?, as another option and I'm just throwing it out there, is to compile the files you got into mods themselves. For example if you take all the addons that deal with islands and put them all into 1 folder and name it @islands, then another idea is to take all the fighter planes & choppers and put them into 1 folder give it a name like PCpack (pc being choppers & planes). The you have all your mods dealing with gameplay, features, effects, ect,,. well.. WarMod does that (221 mods of the type) and then take your other specific mods like ACE and put them in your target line. So your target line can look something like this: -mod=@CBA;@ACE;@islands;@PCPack;other mods anyways up to you just another idea.
colosseum 34 Posted October 24, 2011 Get the Six Updater and stop being such a hateful person, it does nobody any good. Were it not for Bill Gates you wouldn't even be able to play ArmA.
Scott_NZ 10 Posted October 25, 2011 (edited) No need for any third party software, just write yourself a batch file like I did... In Notepad: start "Arma 2 OA" /d "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2" "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2oa.exe" -mod=@cba;@a;@b;@c Then save it as 'Arma 2 OA.bat' or something on your Desktop and then you can use that as a replacement for your shortcut - it doesn't have the length restriction like the normal shortcut does.
