Tonci87 163 Posted September 23, 2011 Well in this Thread http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=121275&page=6 it became again very clear that many People would love to have the object view distance slider like it is present in the TOH Preview. Is there any chance that you might include it in the next Beta so that we could test it? It would be so cool to finally have long range Tank battles/ Air fights without stuff just poping into view once you get near enough. Is there any Reason why this wouldn´t work in Arma? Dwarden 1125 Posted September 23, 2011 while i agree that both object and shadow drawn distance would be great in OA i'm nearly sure it will not happen with 1.60 (new features mean new bugs You know that formula right?) maybe after release of TOH these things would become easier to happen ... Could you explain what kinds of Bugs could be introduced by something that is already working in the TOH Preview, even when you apply it on the Chernaruss map? On_Sabbatical 11 Posted September 24, 2011 yes,i completely agree Those objects popping once you zoom or get near them is really not a good idea. For me,it kills the fun:in warfare for example you can't attack bases from a long distance unless you get closer whick makes you an easy target for AA or AT.
