Try and make sure to include the name of the map you plan on editing on.

Something like mymission.Takistan

Also depending on how you have your game installed, you might have to use the folder in your documents named "Arma" instead of

"Arma 2 other profiles."

I usually just do a trial and error type fix by placing the mission is different mission folders until it loads.

Recently just reinstalled the game and all things are moved around. Hope this helps.

Sounds like you did everything right. The mission should be available in the editor. Maybe use Windows Explorer to make sure your files have gone to the right place.

Thank you very much for your help, and no another and final question that i have.

I have managed to load the mission and i can edit it, but my inquire is how to make the Germans playable in missions that were not playable, is there a way to make all of them playable , for eg the OPFOR to become all playable at once, whithout having to spot everysingle German on the map and make him manualy playable?

Thanks

Well... Yes you probably can. But it would require some scripting knowledge and examining the mission and figuring out where to insert the necessary code.

Depends on the mission. Try to make the units playable (select it, properties, set to playable).

^^^

You've got to watch and read things and ask things as well.

Count on spending countless hours at this.

I'm hoping to finish my mission by Oct to upload here, so I spend an hour a day creating it and doing research...

Even a whole evening can be dedicated to research alone.

Don't forget to bookmark threads you come across as interesting. You may need them later....

Good luck
