Tonci87 163 Posted August 28, 2011 Hi guys Our Squad noticed that the performance on the Server is best when everybody uses the same Beta Version. We make this very clear to everybody when we play a Event on our Server. Sadly some People ignore/forget this. Because of that we had some very bad server performance with clients crashing and stufff like that. Is there a way to see which Beta Version the Clients have, or to disconnect players who join with a undesired Beta Version (or without Beta at all)?
xeno 234 Posted August 28, 2011 Simple answer, not possible. You can't see which beta patch a client is using. Xeno

.kju 3244 Posted August 28, 2011 well i think at least the more recent beta patches have an additional cfgPatches class or more. so you could make a server side addon to kick ppl without that class in any case a SQF command to get the users game version would be useful
