Recommended Posts

I would rather say that Murphy`s law rules the worldcup. In other words: all your predictions will ALWAYS be wrong.

NEXT TIME I PUT MY BILLIONS ON SAUDI ARABIA!!! wink.gif

If i have absolute belief and end up supporting Denmark as i have now,if i disown England from now on as my team.

therefore i assume that Denmark will win because i believe they really are the best team and most likely to go through.

ENGLAND WILL NOT WIN DUE TO DENOIRS LAW<span id='postcolor'>

Yepp. But you don't have to hope that Denmark will win. It is enough that you *believe* that Denmark will win.

Abandon all your hopes for England and they might pull through. But you cannot think like that of course because then Denmark will winn. You just have to end your thoughts at the firm belief that Denmark will beat the crap out of England.

LoL, I just heard on the radio that a South Korean fan set himself on fire because he wanted to die and have his soul help the SK team in the next round. LOL

Hmm.. Perhaps we should try that in Sweden too. I know a few countrymen of mine that I wouldn't mind sacrificing for the good of football smile.gif

That referee Albert posted there must be Swedish, since the players are dressed in Black & Yellow - I have never seen a non-Swedish team wearing those colours (last year 3 teams in the Swedish primier league did)... Do you guys know any other yellow & black team?

And now both my predicted (only on paper for myself) final teams are gone: Argentina & Portugal (2-1 for Argentina). But now it will be Italy & Brazil instead (the other teams in my semi final). Of course IRL Brazil will be replaced by Sweden smile.gif

Borussia Dortmund, Dynamo Dresden

Germany 2 1 Paraguay

Denmark 2 3 England

After seeing the mpeg, I'd say it was a game Borussia Dortmund - 1860 Muenchen

I thought the same (since I thought I saw Mathias Sammer), but the stripes dont realy work (a wrong place) and the socks of Dortmund were generally striped.

Well, I thought as well, that one of them might have been Sammer, but seeing it several times I am not sure at all. However, Sammer played last time about three years ago and he played several years for Dortmund - too long for me, to remember all their jerseys and socks and stuff... What also convinced me is the fact, that it is on a german webpage smile.gif

Upon combining Denior's law, Murphies law & the mafia theory together, it all equal complete chaos or a terrorist bombing of the grand final(hope not). I'm not sure if i want to bet on the world cup anymore with teams like portugal losing to teams like USA.

imagine this-

USA's top athletes from all sports (like the biggest ones basketball and football) training all their life for soccer instead of the other sports. OMG we'd kill everyone. but its not going to happen

Germany - Paraguay 1-0

Germany through to quarter finals. Bad, boring game. Germany scored in the 88th minute. Not too impressive.

Actually you're all wrong, so there wink.gif

It's an English premiership game, team in yellow is Leicester City, player in yellow with the longish blonde hair is Robbie Savage, team in blue are Coventry city, match was played 27/11/1999, referee with the amazing ball skills is Steven Lodge amazing what a bit of research throws up smile.gif

You lucky English bastards smile.gif

Actually I think that Denmark played better - 69% possesion,

but England had more luck.

Heskey is bloody good btw.

Heskey is shit, I can't believe he managed to score, bad bad goalkeeping, I think that intense rain spell helped, haven't you noticed Heskey's terrible first touch in the first half?

Play wise I think it's fairly even, neither midfield is dominating, we just took our chances well, and the own goal by the keeper in the first 5 mins helped us settle a lot better than them smile.gif

In the match against Sweden, Heskey was the greatest constant threat against our defenses.

I didn't see the first goal - stupid me missed the first 20 minutes of the match sad.gif

Anyway, I'm glad that England is winning, otherwise Sweden would have met Denmark in the semifinals at the same time as I would be in Denmark. Needless to say that being a Swede in Denmark wouldn't be so nice when they loose smile.gif

England have had less chances but have taken their chances well, whereas Denamark despite great ball possesion in midfield havent really threatened goals much
