How to resize images below 100kb?

Hello

I would like to post some images from the game but I dont have a clue how to make the 5 mb that the current pictures is on to reduce it to below 100kb as the moderators wanted.

Any advice ?

If you use Linux I can help you to have it on your right mouse button, with Microsoft you could use www.GIMP.org to resize it.

Well im pretty much n00b in editing but i downloaded trial of CS5 photoshop and it lets you resize imgs to whatever size you like

(file, export for web, quality of jpeg...)

or if im not mistaken photoshop lighting room lets you do that too

Im sure there are easier ways but this is what i did:)

IrfanView (free, but worth paying for) will let you specify the filesize you need before saving

I use google's image hosting service called Picasa. It allows you to upload an image of any size, then link to various iterations of image sizes.
