If I pressed the Editor [ Error ]

Hi

i have Big problem :-/ I am tired a lot I hope to get a solution to this problem

If I pressed the Editor [ any map ] i go to desktop and come This Message Include File x_setup.sqf not found

x_setup is a file commonly found in Domination missions, perhaps you have one of them installed and it's corrupted?

As Tankbuster said, x_setup.sqf is most likely a Domination file. You're getting this error because the editor loads the description.ext and mission.sqm of all your map files when you open the editor, and your Domination description.ext #include x_setup.sqf. If its not there, it crashes your game. There are lots of possible errors when editing description.ext that crash your game, its kind of annoying.

Anyway, just make sure x_setup.sqf is in your main Domination folder (along with init.sqf, mission.sqm, d_init.sqf, all those important files). If it is, try redownloading the whole mission from the Domination DevHeaven.

It isn't rocket surgery, but its still a pain in the ass at first. ;)

Have to agree with kylania. Unless only tweaking the default settings, Domination is far too advanced to a beginner. It is however, useful for searching through the files to get good and working (if you understand the rest of the syntax) examples from when wondering about a specific command. But you do need the basics covered nonetheless.

check your missions folders in My Documents and remove/edit any offending missions that contain that file..

There is definitly a mission in your "editing"-missions folder which contains a broken mission...

So clean up the folder and i wish you all the best to find the broken mission.

A simple fix is to just reinsall the game lol I have done that a few times in the past. You will lose any save missions or downloads but it will get your game back up.
