Alan 10 Posted August 11, 2011 I know there were a lot of posts about this problem, but none of them were solved, so I wanna get to the end of this. Every time I join my friends server (or any other server) I get stuck on Receiving Data, It doesn't kick me from the game, after 1 hour or more, doesn't do ANYTHING, just sits on receiving Data, I didn't have this problem 5 months ago, but now I do. Sometimes I can join when we play on a custom map I.E: Isla Duala We don't know what can be the problem. Please Help if you got the solution! Thanks in advance. Alan 10 Posted August 12, 2011 FireWall and AntiVirus already tried to disable it. I use a ArmA 2 Launcher for the addons. And my direct X is updated to version 11 for Win 7 (x32). People can join my server but I can't join their, well, sometimes when there is no scripts loading. Like my friend can put down cars, and I can join, but as soon as he loads his custom scripts I can't join and get stuck on Receiving data, most of the time I get stuck on Wait for host when he loads up the scripts! gonk 0 Posted October 25, 2011 I have this problem on our server... it took awhile but we have finally figured it out. What is happening for us is that the port for the server is set at 2304 but when two players on the same ISP joined... the first guy would get port 2304 and the second guy would get a random port... ie 2338 pr 2557 etc... Even though they join with two different IP's. Currently we have made them open up more ports but are yet to have the two players back on at the same time... Next, I will try the -port function and see if that forces the ports to stay at 2304. I will update this as soon as I get more info... but I thought this may help a few ppl... Hawk_dw 1 Posted November 22, 2011 I've got a same problem and i can assure you that the problem is in router, because without it there is no problems with connect.
