What is Enhanced ALICE?

I am just starting to get into the mods.

I came across ALICE and I know what that is but what is ALICE (enhanced)???

So Alice (enhanced) = Alice2?

If Bis fixed ALICE than why would they include the "broken" ALICE version on the CO disk along witht the fixed version (ALICE2)?

ALICE = ArmA 2 vehicles , civies , etc

ALICE "2" or whatever the correct term is, is for OA vehicles , civies, etc.

No, this is my mistake.....I thought Alice (expansion) was ALICE (enhanced). Misread in game.

So if the map is Utes or Chernarus then I use ALICE. If it is Takistan I use ALICE (expansion)? Is this correct?

or.... I use ALICE or ALICE "2" depending on what units I want to spawn and the map doesnt matter?

Ahh, yeah, that's entirely correct.

ALICE = Chernarusian civilians

ALICE (expansion) = Takistani civilians

Pretty sure you can use any module on any map.

The thing I linked above was a player re-written module that had extra features and tweaks.

I think thats not entirely correct. ALICE is for Chernarussian type building that look for "door1" thingy in the building model. So if you use ALICE in Takistan, it wont spawn Cherna civvies... it wont work at all (I think).

What ALICE decide to spawn are defined in the cfgLocation of that particular map.

Just like in Lingor map by Icebreaker, it uses ALICE (expansion) to spawn civvies, but they spawn chernarussian civvies instead.

That is my basic understanding, for a more detail explaination, then a much more knowledgeable person is required....

Ahh, that might be it. Never really used this since it was broken for so long. :)
