dmarkwick 261 Posted May 27, 2011 Just musing away, and I wonder if anyone ever tried this out before: 2 opposing players, each opens the editor. One player places defences around a selected area on the map, the other organises an offensive force to occupy that same area. Neither knows the plans of the other. Then, the missions are merged into one using the merge missions editor functionality. Neither player must observe the newly merged mission, they just play blind. Obviously, some sort of agreement must exist between the players as to unit numbers and vehicle counts etc.
-=seany=- 5 Posted May 27, 2011 That sounds like it could be an interesting game mode.

johanna 11 Posted May 27, 2011 (edited) with this you dont need the editor http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=12910 And you could costumize the content,(maybe different content regarding witch factor you spawn as) I think the gameplay will be better if the player dont need to be in the editor at all... Had so much fun with this awesome add on :) http://data.fuskbugg.se/skalman02/4ddca3845d3e2_arma2oa%202011-05-25%2007-44-18-40.png http://data.fuskbugg.se/skalman02/4ddca42b19052_arma2oa%202011-05-25%2008-29-46-35.png cvgqofftxsk By the way, we need thicker smoke in your add on  Edited May 27, 2011 by johanna
jakerod 254 Posted May 27, 2011 Back in OFP I did this with my brother. He didn't really play the game but I set up Russian defenses and then put in a US officer far away so that he could see the defenses (which included a lot of decoys) and then he planned his attack.
