I love ACRE. It greatly reduces chatter when you have a lot of people in a single TS channel, and removes the need for different groups to set up different channels, whisper settings and other nonsense during larger Ops or events.

Pretty much stuff everyone in an ACRE channel, assign radio channels to teams, and have fun.

you might want to think twice before conveying your opinion with a bad attitude. If you were more diplomatic and actually add reason to your post we might listen.

the differance between u and me is that if you post random shit on a forum I will just not care. What I meant there is that yes your group and not all of them would care. The casual ArmA gamer and the newcomers that just want to score some frags, have fun and say I pwnd ya! (tease his friends) will not care about this and they will only find it complicated. These kind of featuers and stances keep the community small. As a community guy myself I think that some things must remain as are, simple, fun and buggfree. Plus the more things BIS might have to worry about the more buggs the game might have and the more effort to come alive.

Yeah ok... you say that to the most complex shooter currently available... maybe you should stick to more simple games such as COD and BF.. If your community likes it simple, well good for you. Just don't deprive others of a feature that would not affect you.

Everybody here knows that the best way arma is played is playing it seriously as a simulator, with serious people and making it as real as posible. Nowadays that's imposible in public games because sadly its always full of CODers. ACRE just help a lot i that purpose, and adds a lot of realism to the comms, and i hope that BIS take that into account and help them to integrate it again in arma 3, for example with built-in I/O system.

Obiusly you can also play on random public games and see who gets more frags and all that shit just to spent some free time. But i have more fun playing like that on other games, like bf2, than in arma2 :j:, if arma would be just that, i would never have bought it.

Options are like assholes...

So some people like realism, and some like run-n-gun...who fucking cares? (just as long as they don't whine about it).

That's what makes this game what it is, is that you can play it just about any way you want. I play on a realistic server, but it's fairly certain the majority that regularly play don't want to run complex mods like ACRE or ACE2. Why alienate the game and community even more than it already is?

There's a lot of good mods and suggestions but obviously not everyone wants them as features. Again, let the mod makers handle this.
