Westsailor 10 Posted May 5, 2011 Since I'm still discovering Arma 2/CO maybe it's in there already. Anyone thought of adding IR chemlights to helmets for night ops? Be much easier to ID friendlies that way

Ollie1983 10 Posted May 5, 2011 Soldiers are advised not to smoke at night. The tiny glow of a cigarette can be an ideal cue for a sniper. I am buggered if I would want a light on my head at night.;)
jagheterjan 10 Posted May 5, 2011 Sometimes you just want to be seen by the lads in the gunships overhead or other BLUFOR elements nearby. That's why you might want to put a clunky battery-driven IR light-emitting gadget thingy on your brain bucket if you are allowed to carry and use one. Task 1 Posted January 11, 2012 That's the trade off, seen by air assets, but seen by enemy as well. Timing.

Dont glow in visible light, but are brighter than normal cylumes in NV.
