cartier90 0 Posted April 5, 2011 (edited) I enjoy playing the 'auto generated' SECOP missions - with the target mission, as the name suggests, I go to an area and kill whatever is there. With the latest patches they are particularly challenging as the AI now engage from a fair way away, it is quite easy to die in these from a single bullet. Why is in the combat mission (ie patrol for an hour ) I ONLY get wounded and cannot die straight away ? I end up writhing on the ground where I would have preferred to die and change to another of my team. Has anyone else noticed this, I have extended armor off... .. Coffeecat 10 Posted April 5, 2011 sounds like the first aid module is enabled in the mission ...
jakerod 254 Posted April 5, 2011 sounds like the first aid module is enabled in the mission ... You are correct. The first aid module is enabled in the Combat scenarios. You can still switch to another team member when you're downed though I believe.
cartier90 0 Posted April 5, 2011 Im am confused over the role of 'modules' . All my men had the medic star symbol over them when I was shot. Anyway to get rid of it ?
Joe98 92 Posted April 5, 2011 I too have had the same issue. I have no mods and no add-ons I get wounded. I switch to the Medic. I, ( as medic) move to "me" as leader and patch up the leader. Meanwhile, somebody takes over as leader and starts issuing orders. And the squad becomes scatterd. -
That guy 10 Posted April 6, 2011 when wounded be sure to tell your AI squadies (5- 4). the new leader will send some one to help you out. if switching is available you can quickly switch to the new leader to prevent the AI from ruining your carefully laid plan, and or running to your own rescue. also with 1.59 i have noticed that AIs will come to your aid a little bit faster.
