Where is the bmp

When you see a BMP driving around and all it's crew's heads are out, which head is the gunner?

I am on a mission and want to shoot the gunner so that he can't hurt me.

It may even force the crew out of the BMP, then I can kill them and take over!

He's on the left side of the turret. If you shoot him the others will instantly turn in. If you shoot the commander it will take a small while before they react, so shoot him first and then quickly shoot the gunner. Then all there is left is an armoured skoda

i cant exactly remember, but i am pretty sure its the last guy. the three crew are in sort of a row yes? post a pic and maybe than i could tell ya

Just tested it. The gunner sits at the very top and back. The commander is a little farther forward, and the driver is at the front.

LOL, i just had some fun with that

I made myself a black op day with an XMS and sniped the gunner. Then i ran down and taunted the BMP by unloading on it with my rifle (For my own enjoyment) and then i layed all three of my satchels by it and set them off. I love that.

I prefer to snipe all of the crew members very quickly then steal the BMP and use it to cause some chaos at the nearest base.

I'm wanted on all three islands for grand theft tank.

i played a mission once where you were supposed to recon the area by stowing away in a ural. there was a BMP sitting at the checkpoint where the truck was, i hit all the crew with my HK quickly and stole it. nothing like doing recon on the area then blowing the hell out of everything you found

That's one of the really cool aspects of OFP -- you don't have to play by the book. In fact, often the best way to complete a mission is to find a solution different from the obvious one.

Stealing a Hind in "Desert Ambush" is a good example...

We had a show for several high ranking civil persons last week, lots of armor and even a Mi-8 Hip were there to please the crowd. Most interesting though was a BMP-1. I went to check it out and noticed that boy it's a small vehicle after all. It had a really low profile and the turret was very tiny. I started thinking about BMPs in OFP, and especially their size. I think BMPs are bigger in OFP than in real life or OFP soldiers are like 1.50 meters tall Anyone else seen a BMP close up and noticed the same thing?

in OFP you always stoop over a little when you have your weapon drawn so things could easily look larger like the captain with the weapon on his back

Thank you denoir I was too lazy to take any screenshots but you proved my point. Maybe BIS wanted to make BMP more scary by making it bigger Guess a properly sized BMP would look like a matchbox car in OFP ... not.

Damn, almost 1 month ahead with no vacations, but instead a lot of camping in the woods and a major exercise involving 12000 soldiers, 100 airplanes and 700 vehicles. Might be interesting. But the point was, when I get back I'd like to see a properly sized BMP and and a lot of other addons, maybe someone with O2 could make a CV90 and a SISU XA-185
