Fallen Paladin...you spoke of balanced missions... Would be interesting if two people made a mission, with certain parameters/restrictions, each to a side, then merge them in the editor...not sure if this would work...but might be interesting. smile.gif

The soundmod will not make any problems with the missions you have made (as far as I know).

Interesting idea... biggrin.gif

But you have to specify a lot: the number of units (if air, armored, infantry,... ), their weaponry and so on. And where they are placed. Imagine you merge the two missions and the two bases are on the same spot *KABOOOM*, hehehehe tounge.gif

Have you considered making an addon-free version

of this?

Like not the Hawk, but A10?

I changed my mission a little bit, to make it harder. But I have to test today a little more. Yesterday I was dead pretty early when the ground battle starts. Balancing is not as easy as it seems. Specially for a rookie like me sad.gif

A mission with a A10 would normally be no problem, if I just had to change the planes in the first way.

Destroying the hinds would be a little harder, because you have no stingers. And I fear the mission would still be to easy, because you could kill all the ground troops later in the mission from the air and you didn`t have to fight on the ground how it was supposed to be by me.

But maybe I change the ammo of the A10 a little, what do you guys think?  confused.gif

The best way to balance a mission is to play it from both sides repeatedly and see how it turns out.

I've put over 9 hrs into my pet mission "Hind sight is always 20/20" just by switching sides and members to see things from their perspective. sometimes both SU25 get shot down by the American vulcans, and other times the SU25's Kick major booty! Im now working in mulitple Objectives so that It seems more realistic as each group has their own missions to carry out. having trouble getting the Mi17 to land and pick up previously unloaded troops so they can be taken home. How do i work this?

I had to scrap my ealier work and start over because Desert Malden has less slowdown with more units. My pc is only 900mhz. Now i get to implement MAF's MOST EXCELLENT desert units and soldier units from UCE for the russians. UCE has the BEST Soviet units. Also added in the Taiwan Workshop M249 wich actually looks like an M249 sights and all.

I need Desert Russian Urals, does anybody know of any decent looking Des Urals? Im very picky about the Add-ons i use, i dont like anything thats not at least as good as the original Units.-no lame retextures other then camo schemes

I don`t know exactly, but...

have you tried to give the chopper a load-waypoint and your troops a trigger/waypoint that tells them to get in the chopper and then synchroniced both?
