Cucuma 0 Posted December 19, 2001 Wouldn't that be cool to have a dog fight in the air as land groups clash under them and bullets zoom by there pilot windows. They should have an AA missle or a missle that can lock on to a plane and travel as fast as it and also they should have more fighter jets and less bombers. Crispy129 0 Posted December 24, 2001 I do dog fights all the time in ofp. The only problem is that they have the fog up so high that you can't see far enough to really use missles OR use stingers. BIS NEEDS to increase the visibility in ofp so we can use the effective range of all of our weapons. #### I can't even get to my maximum range with a sniper rifle because of the fog/limited visual update range. ALDEGA 0 Posted December 24, 2001 you can increase the fog distance by typing the following in any init box "setviewdistance xxx" (replace xxx by a number, I believe 5000 is the max). Crispy129 0 Posted December 28, 2001 Ok, thanks, It is real pain in the ass whe a plane or help flys over and by the time my guys has aimed at him he has disappeared in the fog. So I do it in ANY unit initialization field and it will work? I know my system can handle more than the maximum default view distance that they have(on the weather editing part of the mission editor).
