IsthatyouJohnWayne 0 Posted May 9, 2002 Yep- almost all of them great films i think ill have to re-rent some of those mentioned actually, brings back some memories. But take it from a long time 2000 AD fan ,they DEFINITELY could have done Judge Dredd more justice heheh, >justice< see what ive done there? Very clever, Ghahahahahhaheheee........oh
Major Fubar 0 Posted May 9, 2002 I was a big 2000 AD fan too. I agree, it was a pretty poor adaption. But if you take it as a film by itself, it wasn't too bad. 2000 AD had some great stories, my favourites were ABC Warriors, Slaine the Berserker and Strontium Dog. Its briliant, it stars mel gibson in his early days and was filmed in assie land. basically there has been a massive world war and mad max was a police man but is now a lone warrior that travels the roads fiiled with different gangs. It sort of like water world but with a desert instead of water and is way better
Renagade 0 Posted May 9, 2002 Madd Max 2 was the best the road warrior and for futuristic movies i`ll add Escape from New York.

God I love the mood in it ... and not one single person is normal! The "syncron-scene" with the tyre pumping and madras humping is pure art
