Flubadoo 10 Posted December 5, 2010 I want to make an assault mission, and I just want the AI to wander randomly in an area. How do I do this?
AnimalMother92 10 Posted December 5, 2010 Look up "UPSMON". This should be in the Mission Editing forum btw.
buliwyf 4 Posted December 5, 2010 I prefer DAC
Flubadoo 10 Posted December 5, 2010 (edited) Will I be able to set boundaries in UPSMON? Also, they both seem kind of hard to use, especially DAC from reading the readme. Any alternatives? Edited December 5, 2010 by Flubadoo
Wolfrug 0 Posted December 5, 2010 Just place down your AI, give them a single move waypoint, placement radius (whatever, 200m?), and then place down another waypoint next to it you call "cycle". Ta-daa: AI moves around randomly in a 200m radius forever :) Reported this so it should hopefully be moved to Mission Editing sooner rather than later :) Regards, Wolfrug
hellfire257 3 Posted December 5, 2010 For a simple, easy solution use the Dismissed waypoint. http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Waypoint_types#Dismissed UPSMON and DAC are both very useful and excellent tools, however if you just need a simple solution there is the waypoints :)
