A question about Takistani geography??

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to create a campaign with the first mission using the map of Zargabad. I am wondering where the Takistan map is located in relation to Zargabad?? As far as I can figure, using the only map I could find of the whole Takistani country, the Takistan map represents the Sarman Ghar mountain range with the little lake above the R in Ghar, being lake Charsu, on the northern part of the Takistan map. Here is the map I'm going off of.

Is this the right idea?? By the way Zargabad is very realistic and captured my attention immediately. Kudos to the designers.

If you were to put Takistan on a real map, probably around the South West side of the Caspian sea with Chernarus north of it around where Georgia is

I think you misunderstood what I was asking. I want to know where the arma in game takistan map is located within the country of takistan. My guess was somewhere below Zargabad. I dont need to know where takastan would be Globally.

That is correct, yes.

Thanks RiE! I thought that was the case. Does the Sarman Ghar represent the Hindu Kush mountains of Afghanistan?
