Nice!

I'm planning to get a new pc this year, but surely before xmas (waiting times for single pc parts seem to be longer).

i7 930 - how much did you overclock it? I suspect anything over 3.5Ghz should run ArmA2 very well.

not yet overclocked...i take it one day at a time. But surely gonna try it. Will see how it goes in Lagabad.

what is the best nVidia drivers to use? Some say not the newest...

I took the one the shipped with my 460 (got the MSI one), that is new enough for me and has been tested by the MSI team or so i hope.

Also, be sure to install Afterburner (MSI). Can be used with any nvidia card(or even ati?) and has a great onscreen display for fps, system temps/values, time&date (lol) etc.

I used Afterburner to OC my 460 within 5mins. measures card temperatures at all times for you so you can check how hot it gets after 1 hour of gaming.

you can easily push the i7 930 to 4GHz stable with an after-market cooler

I had trouble with the latest official drivers but the latest beta ones seem okay.

That was with SLi 285s so may not aply anyway.

Dam straight :thumb:

The editor is the shit, you can make a quick and fun game in a min, just place,

make a player, save and play!

If you need insight on useing the editor heres some good references to use,

the editor is easier then you think, well til you get into codes, and scripting and misc stuff:

What i'd consider is to search for somebody online that will take you with him and shows you all the tips & tricks in a coop session. Its great fun learning while doing.

I did that with a guy back in ArmA I. Played 2 hours of Evolution Blue with him and the guy was constantly hitting the ground everytime some AI shot at us lol... had the fun of my life. :D
