How to add in config of infantry unit command allowing this to defuse mines, like it was in Operation Flashpoint. I am not config master, so I am not sufe if putting things lile candefusemines = 1; or attendant = 1; will solve the problem.

It was included in the 1.54 patch as far as I know (as was BAF Lite), so should be fine to use with or without BAF installed.

Does it works without BAF DLC also?

yes of course , it works from version 1.54 on all units, that have this entry in their config.

i put this: engineer = 1; in the innit line of one of the blackops unit from the mercenaries addon but it doesn't work! any suggestions?

This must be done in the config.cpp of an addon.

It's not enough to put it in the init field of a unit.
