petrtlach 1375 Posted April 6, 2011 (edited) 8 cm Mortar Mo.36 in game, this same model its too for ArmA II version. The 8 cm minomet vz. 36 (mortar model 36) was a medium mortar designed by the Å koda Works during the Thirties. Intended as standard medium infantry mortar for the Czech Army all available weapons were impressed into service by the German Army when they occupied Bohemia-Moravia in March 1939 and the Slovaks seized approximately one hundred fifty when they declared independence from Czechoslovakia at the same time. Slovak weapons saw combat in the Slovak-Hungarian War, the invasion of Poland, the opening months of Operation Barbarossa and the Slovak National Uprising. Design The 8 cm minomet vz. 36 was a close copy of the French Brandt series of mortars. While it differed in details the most important thing was that its ammunition was incompatible with the Brandt mortars. It fired two different mortar bombs, a light 3.265 kilograms (7.20 lb) bomb to a range of 3,400 metres (3,700 yd) and a heavy 6.85 kilograms (15.1 lb) bomb to 3,400 metres (3,700 yd). It broke down into three loads, barrel, baseplate and tripod, for transport. Normally one man carried each piece. Operational useA pproximately 900 were in Czech service in September 1938. Nothing specific is known about German use although it likely saw service mostly with 2nd-line and reserve troops. Slovakia seized approximately one hundred fifty when they declared independence from Czechoslovakia in March 1939. They were used as the standard medium infantry mortar for the duration of the war. They saw combat in the Slovak-Hungarian War, the invasion of Poland, the opening months of Operation Barbarossa and the Slovak National Uprising. marcomio 0 Posted May 3, 2011 Hey, petrtlach! Very nice work on this quality addons. Downloaded it and took a quick look at it last night and I have to say, it is impressive! Especially the pistol-animations with the "Rollenverschluss" are something well done of many other good things included in this download. Maybe, I missed something or overseen it: Will there also be some heavier tanks like the T-34 and some staff-cars of the czech/russian/german side as well or do you concentrate more on ARMA 2 now? Hope, that many of the ARMA-screenshots of your blog will be released before switching to ARMA 2. Anyway, thanks for this great stuff. Keep up your nice work. :)
FKPLACE 10 Posted May 30, 2011 Nice, but regretful the download site not workable for me. By way, when are you planning to send a beta for ARMA2? I like those tanks and guns and wish to have a fun in ARMA2.

Laid3acK 79 Posted July 23, 2012 Impressive work as usual. If i understand correctly the google translation of your blog, the 1.04 is the last for ArmA1 ? Thanks a lot for your mod and best wishes for the next update (A1 or A2, nevermind).
petrtlach 1375 Posted July 23, 2012 ArmA almost no one playing today, so I would like to concentrate on ArmA II, but I do not deny that some models in the future I will send more to ArmA. A colleague makes the map for ArmA II, the principal will do now for ArmA II.With other updates count, but irregularly, because the mode is missing a lot of things like airplanes, armored cars and trucks.
