107 patch will not install

Attempts to install 107 patch fail repeatedly. WinZip locks and will not finish extracting package to C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2. Most disappointing. Had troubles installing the game as well.

Every time I have patched the game I've dragged the patch file onto the desktop and run it from there. No problems.

Please post your system specs and we will try to help.

Try another extraction tool like win rar or something else. Never had any troubles to run and apply the patch from the relative folder.

Do you own a retail version or a digital one?

Yeah it would be great if you could post your systems specs so someone can maybe help you.

Do as TechnoTerrorist303 says and drag to the desktop first. Then double click the patch icon. I do it this way for everything and it works perfectly.

I have Arma II installed on my D drive. I have tried both extracting the file into the Arma II folder and trying run it from the desktop. Neither works and I get a error message saying Arma II is not installed or is corrupted. Any ideas?

What version is your game before the install?

1.05->1.07?

Are you running the patch as administrator?

Just stabbing wildly in the dark, it's possible that previous attempts to install the patch have caused a corruption of some of the files.

Uninstall Arma 2, then reinstall from the distribution disk ensuring you have full admin rights at the time.

Drag the patch file out of the archive onto your desktop so that you have a .exe file there only. Run it as administrator.

If this doesn't work then chances are you have either a faulty system or faulty distribution disk. Post your setup and we can help you.

Amazing, if OP spent more time responding to this thread to narrow the issue down rather than making vague retarded topics in the General forum he might have solved his problem by now if he really wanted to.
