[EST] 1st Ranger Battalion, JSOC Realism Unit

What is the 1st Ranger Battalion? The 1st Ranger Battalion is a growing Arma 3 Milsim group that is based in the EST Timezone. We are apart of a larger JSOC community that has Spec-Ops and Air branches. The 1st Ranger Battalion focuses on providing adequate infantry support to these branches, and its role in our operations reflect that. What are the 1st's Operations Like? Our operations take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. The 1st generally supports the other branches of our JSOC community in these operations by providing infantry support. For example, the 1st might be tasked with raiding an enemy compound while air provides cover. Why should I join the 1st? The 1st offers a unique and realistic experience due to its JSOC membership. Our community has dedicated Arma and Teamspeak servers, with a Public Arma server in the works. Besides these reasons, the 1st offers an enjoyable and realistic operational experience, and the chance for you to be apart of a growing community. What is expected of me if I join? You are expected to be an active member of the community, attending at least one operation a week. Besides that, you are expected to be mature and respectful to all community members. You will need to download our unit mods, and have a microphone. The 1st has no age restrictions, however, if you are not mature enough to be apart of the 1st, you will not be allowed to join. Hi, my name is CPT.D.Hodgson, as you can tell i am posting this to recruit more people into the 64th company. The type of Arma 3 unit we are is a united states army unit that specializes in on the ground assault ( sometimes mechanized ) combat. Also we have special forces such as Paratroopers, small arms squads and others. There is also a air wing that we need to populate so if you are interested in becoming a pilot that would be the place. We try to make our operations as realistic as possible so if your looking for the real thing, its here. However if you like making operations then there is always a chance for you, because we host weekly fun ops through the week that you can make yourself.
