Operation Irene (co@12) - Duala

The Dutch are going to Duala!

In this mission, you are part of a Dutch taskforce consisting of 10 troopers and an Apache for back-up.

After weeks of a local Warlord ordering bloody uprisings seizing and pillaging UN convoys, High-Command is fed up and wants you to strike back, and strike hard!

You are tasked with securing a Molatian factory, clearing the Molatian HQ located in a local hotel, but most important of all: you are going in to cut off the head of the snake.

You need to capture the enemy warlord though, and not kill him: that would turn him into a martyr instantly.

Mission features:

- Loads of custom voice-acting

- Great effort put into bringing the mission to life

- Combination of handplaced units and random patrols

- Royal Netherlands Army (Dutch Army)

- RH M4/M16 Pack Rearmed

- RH Pistol pack Remake

IMPORTANT: if you want the custom voices to sound right, it's adviced to put the game's effect volume at 50%!

The mission file is rather large because of all the custom voice acting.

EDIT: Be sure to use the 2.0 version of Aeneas's Dutch Army, because the old version no longer works with this mission after you've installed v1.2!

Changelog v1.2:

- Updated the mission to use version 2.0 of Aeneas's Dutch Army soldiers. The old version no longer works with this mission!

- Streamlined the way to extraction, and soundfiles dont play before the warlord has been captured. (didnt expect they would, but somehow they did, so i added an extra precaution to ensure they only play when they should)

I've no idea what's been going on lately but most, if not all the missions i download end up with some kind of error when i try to play it.

In this case it goes like this : "You can not play/edit this mission: It is dependant on downloadable content that has been deleted - DUTCH_ARMY_UNITSPEC.

I have the required addons listed, even re-downloaded them several times. Using custom mod foler (@) and ArmALauncher.

What the hell!

That's really weird Syonco.

Perhaps you could try and put the files in a modfolder that does work? Or instead of using the launcher, try using the normal shortcut with the modstring?

Maybe the launcher is fucking up?

Somewhere tomorrow there's likely to be a new version of the mission, while playing online just now i found a little bug that isnt supposed to happen, and i'm gonna see if i can get that fixed.

And there is a small, small possibility that i might include the recently released medevac module (beta).

Edit: after this update you will also have to download the 2.0 version of the Dutch Army units, considering i'll use those intead of the old :)

As promised, the new version is ready.

I fixed the soundbug, but more importantly i've updated the mission to use v2.0 of Aeneas's Dutch Army!

After you upgrade to v1.2 you can no longer play this mission with v1.0!

Awesome mission, I like how two guys can fly the Apache in support of the 2 squads. Unfortunatley, when we go him in the chopper, nothing happened. We all got in the chopper and nothing happened. We called that a win though. :)

I'm pretty sure you need to extract the Warlord back to the base. That's probably why the mission didn't end. :)

We got him in the helo and we all loaded up. We tried using the radio or communication tabs but there wasn't anything available for us to click on.

It was still a very good mission!
