[Alpha->Beta] LIGHTING of Vehicules - Not finished

Hello,

I post again a true topic for a little function that has never finished.

With the new vehicules, same problems :)

and very bad worse light of new trucks

Nobody has never answered for this (on ticket, dev or people)..

Maybe a day^^

Nice update of lighting in two weeks.

At the moment with the update of 09/05/2013 -> 0.57.105007, only the normal Hunter has potentially the full lighting who run without problems.

The Hunter HMG and GMG have left light problem. All vehicules (do not include the normal Hunter) have problems with lighting with an angle of 45°. The left light or right go died when you where in an angle of 45° or more / vehicule.

The light of lamp could cross the inner (middle) window frame.

When user use high lighting, he has many problems with lighting on some building and in this exemple the camp fire who turn of and on constantly when you where in a vehicule with a range of 20 m.

At the moment; If you want to kill many problems with lights distance view, use very high settings or ultra : but increase significantly use of GPU.

DEV's, one question about my post :

No news or improvements in test or scheduled about problem with angle lighting of vehicule and clipping with some lighting appeared sometime and disappeared. ?

I can confirm than the angle of light of Ifrit (all version) was not corrected...

Why to have only the normal hunter with great angle and full lighting....

Left light hunter (HMG and GMG) was always died.

Please DEV's please fix that :p, you have 95% of lighting of vehicules was finished :p

Same problem with sun, i don't test if all the lighting of guns (for example), IR laser or other have the problem with angle > 45°.

If players want to test it, i can't alone :). If you want to upgrade my feedback tracker or vote for it, i answered on the link that have posted before.

I wouldn't expect news. If BI is going to make adjustments based on your suggestion, they will just do it.

24 July 2013 : News APC have no problem with angle of light or light implementation. Others were always here.

Maybe i can add the LOD problem of lighting between Agia Marina and the airfied. With a middle range, light were on or off, it's very strange and very unconfortable to move and show this boring LOD^^.

Next episode for light of vehicule or LOD of light later... :cool:

I would search the feedback tracker for similar tickets. If one exists, I would vote it up. If one doesn't exist, I would create a new one. I would also make sure to only post on issue per ticket. Posting bugs or suggestions on the forum is much less likely to get to where it needs to go.

did a quick test:

road cone lights and road barrier lights are operational, but don't light the environment yet. this looks very strange. also the glow effect is very dependent on viewing angle. when you view from a bit of an angle you can see nothing at all.

needs further improvments!

was disturbing me but now that I think more it looks like it should be like that. But those and the red lights don't look good if you're near them because they just cast very small ball inside them and looks like they are off.
Confirm! Same problem for me. The white ones turn yellow when close..

DEV Googlava if you read it :

In the beggining of the alpha, with a full sun, we can't see properly when we show it with a front view (as the real life). Since beta, in my opinion, the light was great but don't have the blind effect when we show a full of sun in front of view, it's :( ... it's just an opinion.

I repport it to my subject of the lights.
