Who says you can't add the event handler in the eh execution? That'd be like you can't put toast in a toaster and expect just non toasted toast -
the scale of the overall island/map is bigger too. so, most games will take into consideration the scale versus how far a person walks upon walking. so if the island in this case was 16x16km2 there would be a certain scale factor that scales the distance down to how much a player is supposed to walk in relation to the island. in call of duty let's say, you can run run run across the map and find yourself on the other side within a few seconds. Regardless of the scale, it's how the size of the map is taken into consideration for each movement of the player. Which is what arma does best - scale.

Where? On a well optimized mission and properly configured server I see absolutely none of what the thread starter is talking about. Have any of you actually taken the time to play on a server and test this fool's theory? Because it's completely false, worse case scenario you had delayed actions and "rubber banding" but generally that is as a result of the player's connection and improper server configuration rather than just "Arma 3".

I have a little over 2,700 hours and all that time is mostly in the editor

Once again, fog is a getter for fogParams and setFog. I don't see what you're so distraught about. -
thank god you know what this was all about. Never even heard of "Exile".

Still doesn't make any sense. What do you mean the store throws you from the battleye server? That doesn't even make sense. Articulate please.

[SOLVED]Problem: AI find and kill players.
Midnighters replied to shambler's topic in ARMA 3 - MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Why on a regular basis? If the player is 1km+ away maybe, maybe not even that. As long as the distance is reasonable between the ai and the player and the player doesn't travel all the way on the other side of the island. Then the ai will be able to make the decision to engage the player. -
Titan Missile System Enhancements [Feature Request]
Midnighters replied to Tavish's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
here is my philosophy on this. If these new missiles provide a new feature base that will allow for others to grow and make more content based off of it. It'll be likely only then that bi will consider it. Otherwise, in the mindset of BI: it's no longer worth it. Since (once again my philosophy) arma 3 was made for people to make and expand upon the base content of the game. Cool idea though. -

Correct! -
You seem to through around ADHD too much. Almost loses complete meaning. A "ranking system", if you want it then go implement it how you like. Arma 3 is a base game ready for content creators to build off of it, not a community compilation of what is should be. Figure out that tricky part with the ranking system so that ADHD kids can't ruin the gameplay. Because god forbid people have ADHD, who the fuck do you think you are honestly?

the difference between the two: playMove - transition between animations (ie idle to anim) switchMove - no transition, immediate change. (ie idle instantly to anim)
