  1. A british expansion pack, adding official MTP uniforms and osprey carriage systems as well as the vehicles such as the landrover, foxhounds etc.
  2. The Scots Guards Website British Foot guard Unit Infantry Based Gameplay Urgent Notice - Technical Manager needed as a Co-Community Directer! Due to the fact that I am a total moron regarding most things technical (although I am getting better), and due to the fact that I am unable to fund or maintain technically a server, I am looking for anybody who could help me do this. You will be awarded a senior position in The Scots Guards and will gain my everlasting thanks and appreciation - my vision can't go ahead without this person/bunch of people to help me! I would love it if you could fund a respectable spec server but if you are capable of hosting it from home on good internet, then that is fine too - as long as you know what you are doing. I have terrible internet and wouldn't know what I am doing so it is not an option for me. I just have a vision of how I want the server starting up and ran, and how I want the players enjoying themselves. If you can help, please do. What we need: An ARMA 3 Server: Capable of hosting around 10 players at the moment. A Teamspeak Server: Capable of hosting around 10 players, too. Somebody capable of fiddling with the server, and adding mods such as MCC sandbox, maps, vehicles and xmed. A responsible person who wants to help start a new community dedicated to having a fun environment and promoting realism as much as possible! I am working on raising some funds but untill then I need the help of the community to get this started. WHO are we? The Scots Guards is a brand new community aiming to provide a new experience in the ArmA III realm. We are looking to provide an experience in which the player is immersed in a British Infantry unit, in this case we have chosen the Scots Guards. As a community, we will employ British Infantry procedures, British radio voice procedures, and other procedures such as British FIBUA drills and the like. We will operate the British Weapons systems. What we do not want is a stupid power-crazy community that fights for ranks. That is not what we are about; and if thats what you want then this is not the unit for you. As the lead 'visionary' here, I'm only a corporal in game. I've not set myself to captain with only a few members or anything, it doesn't make sense. Ranks are only based on the amount of people we have in the unit. As a unit we follow the most up-to-date British army section structure which I have found many units do not, or don't even know about. The reason we do this isn't so we're all hyper-military screaming-down-the-microphone-serious, its just so our gameplay is authentic and everybody gets a chance to perform their roles accordingly. Once (and if) we get the community off the ground, I will be happy to step back from my section commander/senior role and let you guys - the players, take charge, swap around and get a taste of the leadership etc. What are we looking for? We are looking for a mature playerbase who wants to have fun. We also want to be able to fully immerse the player in a more realistic combat environment than the ever-more-present 'run and gun' techniques as shown in ArmA. When the server begins, we hope to set off on patrols in Afgahn provinces, setting up PBs (Patrol Bases) in abandoned compound and playing like modern day afgahn combat is done in recent years. This way we are actually having a unique opportunity to play as things are and get a taste (even if only mild) of what soldiers have to experience on the front line. You do not have to be British! We warmly welcome people of all nationalities looking to try something different or what they might not be used to. Americans are strongly encouraged to join and have a go - it might be more convenient for you to join a server with a GMT+1 time zone if you are busy in the evening you can play during the afternoons instead. Our main rule is: Any breach of common sense is a breach of the rules. In your maturity, we ask that you have common sense and most of all do not ruin the experience for others! Do not join if you're not prepared to share responsibilities with others and enjoy great co-opritave teamwork and help build up a new community with a clear vision!
  3. I know this is a huge ask, but I'm looking for a co-manager to help me get an ARMA 3 Military simulation / tactical realism unit to life.
