Welcome to the Baader-Meinhof Brigade! We are the Baader-Meinhof Brigade, an friendly and active unit within the ArmA 3 community. Our main focus consists of assisting progressive movements around the world against the forces of tyranny and oppression, using conventional and unconventional means alike to achieve our objectives, all depending on the scenario. From the frontlines of Takistan to the northernmost hills of Chernarus, we stand ready to fight for the people. There are also some opportunities for PvP, where we take a similar role. What we do We strive for a realistic environment, but we also believe in having fun while doing so. We do not believe in the oppressive hierarchy of the military and we focus on an open, friendly and democratic community. Everyone is given a chance to lead and try out different roles, as long as you realize that there is a time for being serious and a time for joking around with your friends. Our primary operations takes place on Sundays at 17:00 GMT. But more activities will occur throughout the week with enough interest and availability; from more open missions in our current campaign, to going on tactical battlefield as a group. While we do not exercise any attendance policy, you will be expected to atleast respond to pre-event messages. What we provide: - A realistic and yet laid-back experience. - A friendly and tolerant community. - An alternative to the majority of blufor-oriented units. - A high degree of inter-unit democracy. We, the Baader-Meinhof Brigade, are a new but steadily growing insurgent group within ArmA 3. Now we are looking for other squads or groups that would be willing to play against us in different scenarios which would allow us to take upon the role of insurgents and the like. Perhaps you are merely looking for a bit of a greater challenge in your regular PvE events by adding actual players, perhaps you are looking for insurgents of some description to ambush one of your patrols or convoys or perhaps you have a scenario, sush as a hostage-situation, that requires actual players. I would appreciate it if someone from the RHS-team could inform us on this issue. :)

Great work on the GREF, but I can't seem to make it work with alive, which is odd since the previous RHS-factions works perfectly with it. I even tried switching out the GREF factions for the standard ones and then it worked, so I presume these are yet to be made compatible with alive?

A great map, but the the issue I have with this and Wamako is the lack of civilian placement with Alive, are there any plans to add this in the future?

After completion of our previous campaign and a short break over the holidays, we are back with our new campaign set on Isla Duala. We will assist our comrades in the north as they wage an insurgency against a recent US-backed invasion. Our missions will include kidnappings, assassinations, arms-smuggling and sabotage.

Any plans to make the factions compatible with alive?

After a hiatus of a few weeks, we will return to active duty with our new Ukrainian-based campaign on Sunday this week. We will assist the United Armed Forces of Novorossiya along the frontlines, both through conventional means and infiltration behind enemy lines, with plenty of variation in regards to objectives, weapons and vehicles.

Nevermind, the issue was resolved with today's update.

Good afternoon! This issue has plagued me for some time now, in all it consists of the game freezing after clicking ok on the server-host screen. I have looked vividly for solutions, but after trying all the proposed ones, the frustration just increases and have led me to create this post. Now for a more detailed description: My community, which I am temporarily hosting the server for, recently added Everon to the modpack, for it to only be used once a week during a side-campaign of some description. When I, later during the week, was going to host the ordinary mission I turned off everon, since not everyone had downloaded it and it was not being used. This resulted in my game freezing after filling in the name of the server, the password, the port and then clicking ok. I then re-activated Everon and suddenly it worked like a charm and most people were able to aquire it in due time after all. I proceeded to trying to resolve this, by building up the next mission from scratch, deleting any and all traces of Everon and the mentioned mission. This did not work, so I googled my issue and thus unsubscribed from the few mission I had on the steam workshop, clearing up the cache for it and verifying the integrity of the game on steam but to no avail. I also tried to change the port, this got me past the initial freeze-point, but only to end up with every mission, even the vanilla-ones, having no player slots present. I then reinstalled Everon in a desperate attempt, but now even this will result in the game freezing. Note that I have been able to regularly host non-dedicated servers for ArmA 2 & 3 for about two years worth of time, without any issues. Any ideas as to how one should proceed?

As our numbers increase, so does our activities and structure. After finishing our campaign on Altis, we have moved onto Bornholm to liberate it from the chains of american oppression. We also have regular TvT events and the occasional joint cooperative mission. The people need you!

After suffering from inactivity for a few months, we are now back. But this time tied to a functioning and well-organized regiment within the game, where we will be acting as an irregular force during their campaigns.
