  1. Has anyone else found that the FlakPz has too much armor? Leopards will die to a few RPGs but the FlakPz seems to take little if any damage from them. This was all tested with vanilla BTW. I'm Sorry if this is the wrong place. Just thought it was worth bringing up. I am absolutely loving the DLC please keep up the good work!

    Slots are filling up! It shaping up to be a fun op. Again, no experience is required. Here is a sneak peak of the mission: Situation Task Force Mitchell, consisting of the 27th MEU and elements of the 2nd Battalion, 161st Parachute Infantry Regiment are conducting an amphibious invasion of southern Altis. Marine forces are spearheading the invasion, landing along the southern coast near Feres, and then assaulting north to destroy SLA forces present in the area. The Task Force commander has decided to use the Airborne to seize key terrain north of the main invasion to interdict and stop any counter attacks from Soviet forces farther to the north. Your battalion has been tasked with seizing a key mountainous ridge running east to west along the length of the island. Your platoon (Echo 2), has will seize the town of Chalkeia (Objective Columbus), to deny the enemy use of MSR Ohio, and establish an airhead for further reinforcements. Once Columbus has seized, your platoon will move two kilometers north and establish defensive positions around the town of Dorida (Objective Toledo). Once Toledo is secured, you will defend until friendly forces are able to effect a link up. Hope to see you guys out there, should be lots of fun! Cheers

    Apex Vehicles Feedback

    Would it be possible to have the weapons on the blackfish correct for movement? Right now as a gunner you need to use kentucky windage to hit anything accurately on the move. The aiming and stabilization system should account for this better.

    Thanks for the hard work guys! I cant wait to see what you have in store for the future. One quick question for everyone: I was having problems with the smoke launchers on the tanks. They did not seem work when a commander was present in the tank. Is this a known issue?
  8. Version 2.0 available below! This is a simple reskin package I have made up for use over on the SimHQ server and I just thought I would share it over here. The pack includes reskins in both desert and woodland marpat as well as a reskin for the Marshall, which I have renamed the MPC-25 Havoc. I have included default loadouts balanced for a good mix of realism and gameplay. Time permitting I will be updating this pack with new classes and units. I am looking at adding some new, contemporary, helmets as well as a few variants of the Scalable Plate Carrier Vest.     Combat photos from Afghanistan this year as well as of training exercises in Korea show a good mix of both M4s and M16a4s in use. I just made loadouts to reflect this.

    NVGs are in the inventory and M16A4 are still standard issue for Marines not the M4. The M4 is only for officers and situations where a fill length M16 would be a hindrance ie. vehicle crews.

    Because if they joined BI they would have quit their respective jobs and possibly relocate. Moreover. BI would have to pay them for something they already provide for free.
  22. I am in the midst of completing a reskin for the default NATO units. What I am wanting to do is swap the normal map on the default helmet with my own to give the impression it has a fabric cover and not just bare metal. I am at a loss of how to do this? Is there something that must be added to the config or do I just simply throw the normal map in with the other texture when I pack it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
