  3. No and a littlebit of yes. This mod is Multiplayer orientated so I disregarded any AI behaviour fore the sake of multiplayer realism. But even if I did want to do that I would be forced to make hellfires lock on vehicles. Which is not the case IRL, except for the Lime hellfire variant, which comes with the Longbow variant that Ill add.

Just keeping everyone up to speed: We fixed some issues with the landing gear plus some Misc issues Right now working on the following: - Improvement of AFM xml file parameters - US and BAF Variants - Showcase mission After this release there won't be an update for a while. Anyone has any last minute suggestions? Now is your chance!
  5. Gentlemen, We're still working to get v1.0 done but due to work I was away for over 2 week so that will make me mis my end-of-july deadline. Release will be somewhere halfway in august!

  9. At the moment the parameters I have access to are worked into the AFM Xml. Other changes are there to make it feel as much as possible as the real thing. I have two former Apache instructors as collegues and I make a simulator run in the gunner seat once a year to keep current on their (new)capabilities. So I have a littlebit of personal reference amd the two best testers I could wish for. Sadly some parameter I need for the Xml are even not known for these experienced pilots. Neither I cam find them anywhere on the map. I dont know if this all is being done for any other helo.

Fixes: - Target boxes removed for non-longbow version - HMD heading tape fixes - Laser properly lined up with sensor - Small fixes to Advanced Flight model when in ground-effect - Damage model: now tanks can barely kill it with a salvo shot - 30mm damage parameter - 30mm sound effect and parameters Additions: - Automatic switching from TRANS to CRUISE mode in HMD - Turning wheels when taxing - BAF Longbow AH1 variant - USA Longbow variant

    Hello everyone, I thought a little update would be appropriate! Eventhough things seem quiet arround Lowlands Warrior, we are busy as hell to build new stuff. Some of you may allready have tried the nearly-done version of our Apache? Well that's just one of the things that's being worked on! At the moment the Rucphense Heide and surrounding area is being worked on. Specifially objects and building are being made. I personally was hiking/driving arround there the other day to make pictures of the plants and misc objects. The nearby airfield will be made as detailed as practical! In addition to that we are working on the S6 Stemme and L39 Albatros. Most of you may think: "A german civil motor glider and Czech build Attack/Trainer jet, are you crazy Neptune?". Nooo there is a plan to everything! I work of a company that is being hired by the Dutch Armed Forces (and beyond) to provide ISR and CAS assets. And the home base is Breda International Airport, which happens to be on the Terrain of the Rucphense Heiden! So that's exactly what we're going to build for arma! But there is more. The C7/C8 Colt is in the making. As well is the RNLAF Chinook and the Volks Wagen 'Amarok'. We are trying to get the blessings of an other mod maker to simply use his model for Lowlands Warrior but so far we have had no response at all. Behind the curtains we have a basic model of the Zr.Ms. Rotterdam, the Dutch Navy's Flagship. Somehwere in juli we hope to release v1.00 of our AH-64D Apache.   14. Will CSE's food & water return in Ace3? For our ops (which run 7 days+ sometimes this IS infact an interesting feature. Hope I didnt mis and obious FAQ.

  16. The boxes shouldnt be there at all as far as Im aware. Neither with the longbow The Fire sollution cue, in real life, for the Hellfire is displayed as a small box at the bottom of the gunner's sight. It merely shows how far the target is off-bore by sliding left/right and wether the weapon has a good fire sollition by going from an intermitted-line box to a closed box. we're trying to accomplish that in 1.0 So it doesnt show target location at all. Ill check out the laser. Is the lockbox off-centre or the actual laser dot? In the first case, its an arma issue and the weapon will track to the aimed at position. In case the laser is off-center... thats an issue that was resolved in the pre-release. Then the fix should be easy. Which one is it?
  17. Ah. The squares shouldnt be there at all. So Ill look into that. It was a test thingy. Lockbox shouldnt be there. Please report it when you do see it. :)

  19. Im fammilliar with the stats of the M230. If I remember correctly I have put the damage radius to 3 meters. I'll doublecheck though.

  22. The lagging of the target box is no issue. It should be disabled for realism anyway. The hellfire will track to the actual location of the laser anyway. We'll test the other issue. Although AI behaviour is somewhere at the bottom of the priority list.
  23. The flipping is a feature. Close to 'Nve' the helicopter suffers from retreating-blade-stall. So the backward moving blades produce no more or less lift, which makes the helicopter flip in the retreating blade direction. The landing gear indication is a feature aswell. It allows you to swap your HMD from TRANS to CRUISE mode. In 1.00 this will be done automatically and the icon will change. So no...I will NOT remove it. ;)

  25. The laser should be locked from up close. otherwise it may take a while. a lack in the arma engine. The stock helos have radar and stuff active, which our apache doesnt have. that optics behaviour is normal. The first time you doom to geo-stabilised it has no grid to slew to yet. So you want to ground stabilise the sensor before you go into combat.
