  2. Looks nice! How is the communication done? Would something like TFAR be possible, so you can talk only to players nearby and maybe even find radios?

  6. Same here! When I am spawning AI via Zeus they are pretty damn accurate. We dont use a hc so.

    Hm, I don't think it is Alive related, another Alive sample mission is working with no errors. Could this be CAF AG related?
  11. Hey, I am running into some issues as well. I did rename all files and dirs in alive to lower chars using the command: rename 'y/A-Z/a-z/' * This should do the trick?
  12. Hey, I am looking for a way to get the AI acting more realistic on our small scale coop games. We are 5-10 Players on a dedicated Linux Server, mostly me as a live gamemaster. I would like to build our Missions using the Editor with MCC and Zeus to save it. In the game I am acting as Gamemaster and take control of AI as necessary. For AI enhancement we use already ASR AI, but I would like to improve it even more (enemy commander etc.) What would you use? GAIA of MCC or Alive AI? Is this even possible with a live ZEUS?     Hey, yes indeed i am trying to use ALiVE on the linux server! Thank you so much for your hint! I just renamed all files to lower case with a rename command. I guess that wasn't enough? I will give it a try tonight. Thank you so much EDIT: What does this tolower.c different to the command for each directory: rename 'y/A-Z/a-z/' *

  17. Hey, sorry for the delay... Thank for this good intel :-) I see two scenarios right now if I got you right: 1.) I am GMing all of the time, so I will try MCC (and / or DAC) with Zeus 2.) I am also playing as a Squadmember when we are not enough ppl, so I will give ALive a go and see what it does. Thanks again, now I will have a look for some Sandbox missions. Cheers, Chris

  19. Hey there, thank you for this great sticky! We, a small group (3-8) of coop players, discovered Arma 3 a few weeks ago and be still amazed... We want to play a roleplay style game with an active gamemaster in zeus, controlling units etc. on a dedicated linux arma 3 server. Is there any good combination of AI mods to make the AI behave more realisitic and, more important, less accurate for us beginners? I already tried this combination: * VTS_duckhunt, FFIS (doesn't work with actual patch?!) and ASR AI And for me it seems that the AI is moving quiet stupid, standing around a lot, dont react to firefights etc. while the aiming and the aiming speed still is god like... Other mods I know of: ALIVE - Good AI but very hard for small scale coop? MCC - ? bCombat - I just saw some videos where the AI is not reacting very well to firefights. TPW - SP mod only or some parts good for MP? TMR - any AI related at all? So what would you guys recommend for us? Thank you very much! Cheers, Chris
