  1. On another note, does Voice Attack now behave similar to how Articulate did/does? E.g. complex commands such as "2,5,6,8 assign team red" without breaks inbetween? Such a feature would probably drift me away from using VAC.
  2. That is wrong. VAC does indeed support mouse clicks. Additionally it supports every single button on the keyboard, be it QWERTZ or any other sort of keyboard layouts, incl. media keys.
  3. Hm ok, didn't really play any other missions other than WLA since the Marksmen DLC. Thx for the headsup though :) Very nice update SaOk. I don't know how you did it that fast but other than the greenbag base issue, my previous mentioned problems are pretty much all solved. Saves does work again, grenades shown again, ingame configure menu does open flawlessly again, and overall the performance felt much more responsive eg. accessing and managing the gear menu. Only sometimes some frame drops, but which recover pretty fast again. You rock dude :cool: Didn't had the chance yet to see the new auto medic and auto rearm stuff in action but I guess time will tell. My soldiers prefer to die instantly instead atm, KIA style, lol. If you don't mind I have 2 ideas for WLA, maybe you like them; - it would be nice if the gear menu would have an "amount" box, like it is in the Weapon shop where you can select the amount of ammo that you want to buy. .that way it would be much easier to add more stuff at once w/o having to scroll again to add another one. .(currently a double click or drag and drop does not save the previous position of what has been selected, so you you have to scroll all the way again to find what you wanted to add. This can become very inconvenient if the storage is already full of all the good stuff. http://i.imgur.com/1eHcJMY.png (1625 kB) - Call Support Menu: When the team has been wiped and I want to order new paratroopers (Teammates [Para]) the menu closes once there has been made a single selection. Yet it would be better to have the menu stay open to order couple of paratroopers in a row w/o re-accessing the menu, scrolling and selecting all over again. Pretty much kinda cosmetic stuff which makes the life much easier on the battlefield :D

  5. Unfortunately I have a couple of issues currently, - Savegame issue (0-0-0) I can save the game right after the game has been loaded. I can also set auto save to 15 minutes and it successfully saves the 1-2 times (2nd time takes very long though, about 20 seconds to save). Then it just fails to save. the game attempts to save, environment sound still plays normal, but after around 15 seconds the sound is freezing and 5 seconds later the game crashes. (I have 3 different crash reports (each with those dmp files) and can send you the link for them if they are useful for you. Sometimes the game fails to create such dmp reports when crashing from the save issue) It crashes with the error window "ArmA3.exe doesn't work anymore". - Greenbag base (Green basecamp) .Mission can not be finished, there is no major or something to speak to, nothing happens when I'm there. .whole Map: http://i.imgur.com/CipbPAE.png - Grenade bug .Grenades can not be used even though they are in the inventory. .However they can be used again when dropping the grenades on the ground (or the whole uniform/vest/bagpack) and re-equip it. - Issue with the task "Assault to Camp near Nowhere" .Sometimes the mission can not be finished since there is no base to capture, nor does it help to create an outpost at the marked area. The mission simply fails after a while. .However sometimes the mission finishes by itself successfully when I'm not there. .specific part of the Map: http://i.imgur.com/gGb8j96.png - Ingame options take very long to open .Esc, configure menu takes very long to open, if it opens at all. Sometimes it takes around 15 seconds, sometimes nothing happens at all. The save game issue is the worst for me currently :(
  6. No, it's an issue that occurs in combination with the current CBA. More missions other than WLA are affected by this as well. However, the CBA dev team is aware of the issue and it will be fixed for the next CBA version > link edit: Seems they put out a hotfix already :D >click<

  10. Haha, nice to hear that you enjoyed it :D I even used Twitch's official music library for the 2nd part of the stream and still the VOD is muted at some parts, damn. Huge thanks for still maintaining this awesome project (playing it since quite a long time already) and your efforts in always optimizing, tweaking, bug fixing, and adding more cool stuff!! Keep up the good work with WLA, it's a blast playing and having so much choices and random things that are always happening. :) Since a long time still one of my most top favorite missions in ArmA!

Thanks for your free advertising SaoK, kinda flattering :D Unfortunately kinda short stream with unexpected stuff happening and a very sad game crash at the end that led to autosave not functioning :( Never had a crash before since couple of days. (Probably ACE mod or the new CBA in conjunction with RHS.) Also the game capture of OBS was bugged at the end and didn't want to capture anymore, darn. So I had to end. Might be back in a few minutes again after sorting out some stuff.
  12. Latest WLA also broke the mod "WW_AIMenu" or better the keyinput to access the menu of it. :( Only on WLA, tested successfully with other maps. Tested also with CBA RC4 and RC6.

  14. If I might add a request too; The current bullet tracking might become handy for specific situations. But for me personally I do prefer to play w/o it most of the time since it also decreases the performance and lowers the FPS significantly. It would be nice to have the option to have this feature turned off right at the beginning and have the option to toggle it on when needed via the hotkey.
  15. Installed the newest update and tested around a bit more. I found out that Athena Desktop lags out if 3 of the conditions are met; If either 1 of those doesn't, it doesn't lag; - Athena Desktop is in running state "Start-ed" - Loads into GPU System memory (not Dedicated Memory) [around 849 MB for me] - Is visible on at least 1 screen (not minimized) ------ - it stops lagging when the app is minimzed (still in start-ed state and tracking and still in GPU's System Memory) - it didn't lag when the app is running purely on GPU's Dedicated Memory (ingame FPS were worse then overall) (this scenario happened only a few [2/20?] times that it used the Dedicated GPU- over the GPU System Memory) - it doesn't lag when the app is visible on 1 screen but not on start-ed mode (though it still lags in this state when moving around the app map with the mouse, lags occur every 3 seconds then) Also the amount used GPU System Memory doubles when starting Athena Desktop app and moving it from the primary monitor to secondary monitor. (The app freezes in that moment for about 5 seconds.) This will only happen once in a session of the app until it gonna be restarted.

  17. Unfortunately the H-key bug and the soldier order numbers are still bugged :( I also noticed another strange thing. A function of ACE mod realizes that the avatar (own soldier) is muted and only the AI is speaking. This is very handy for my usage with speech recognition software but; in WLA the avatar is still speaking the orders. On every other mission that I tested he is quiet as supposed to be. Is there a way to change that and let ACE mod forbid him to speak as for every other mission? :D

  19. Very straight forward open source opening/alpha release. I really like the interface. It's intuitive, convenient and straight on point. Very nice. Only sometimes I noticed some FPS drop/decrease when opening the UI while the FPS were already <40. Would be nice if you could achieve a little bit more improvement. Huge thanks for the muting avatar only function while still being able to hear all the commands of the AI. That way it's so much more enjoyable when commanding AI's via speech recognition software ala VAC :) As for the current amount of functions it's already a blast playing around with it and I'm really excited so see where this is going to even more. The only thing I was missing and I think would perfectly fit the ACE theme is DoctorSheep's Action Button Mod. Would be really nice to see a collaboration. Keep up the good work guys, you doing great!! :)
  20. No problem. I couldn't find much of a difference nor improvement nowadays anymore between the allocators. Back in the days when the GMF tweak was still working I had the best results in conjunction with Fred's allocator and the tweak.
  21. BI's default allocator for ArmA is "tbb4malloc_bi". You can look it up in the *.rpt file which allocator is being used for you currently.
  22. The hiccups/FPS lags in intervals occur as soon as a mission is started and at least 1 player getting tracked. It does not getting worse over time. The hiccups continuously happen in the same intervals as on level start. However I noticed a change in these intervals when loading another mission file. I had 12 seconds interval in between these FPS hiccups in another mission.
