No HλLF-LIFE 3 ? :confused_o: .. terrible!

Nobody said that Arma 3 has to be like DCS, but that aircraft mechanics should be improved.

The Serbs as nation were never punished by NATO and UN, but Serbia as country which was involded in one decade of wars in order to surrender and give up from Kosovo that declared independence. WW2 in Croatia cannot be compared to that, as it was a fight of Croats with different ideologies. These two halfs (Fascist and Anti-fascist) were both Croatian as a whole, so you can't say 'but Croats weren't punished for Ustashi crimes', because that way you mention partisan one too, and partisan one was victorious and since then it represents Croatian nation (Today's USA = victorious Yankees, not responsible for South American enslaving of the black people). If you get what I'm saying. Anyway, no need to keep this on.
-
Partisan movement > Federative State of Croatia (victory!) > People's Republic of Croatia > Socialist Republic of Croatia > Republic of Croatia Ustashi movement > Independent State of Croatia (defeat!) You want to 'punish us' for defeating Fascism and Nazism ? Bad idea, hypocrisy and bunch of dezinformations & propaganda that you should stop with. @Moderators sorry, but I had to mention it, since nobody else tried to (and yes, it all affects the people reading this).

Arma engine needs a huge change in order to adapt to modern gaming standards. Like this, it even fails in implementation of 2005. technology (A51 PC had better physx than Arma3). Hey, let's not even mention Source engine. BIS is missing alot of it.

Great project! Can you put as less as possible objects and vegetation on it, so that map doesnt lag in aerial combat and with e.g. 5km VD ? Cant wait to fly a F-22 over it ... :)

Now ask us about railgun tank! :D

"Opening up Arma 3 to paid user-made content" - How?
Degman replied to gammadust's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
Agreed! Optional, but better presented donations are the best way to solve the problem that the people are talking about here. I don't want the Arma modding community to turn into capitalist, selfish, ekscentric shithole in which nobody is willing to help each other - just because of the money (competition, prestige, ...). It's not like everyone who bought the Arma 3 game has extra money in his pocket, nor it is logical to open monetization of user content. There would be: a) legal issues (someone will pay you for the other people's work or some ports from other games) b) server issues (every server has different collection, mostly the huge one, with different mods in it - you will pay for all that s*** ? And what if you want to play on other servers too ? Prepare your credit cards and half of your monthly salaries!) c) the community (I mentioned competition, prestige and bs already) On other hand, I would support an approach in which the BI Studio would make a better DLC system e.g. the best modders would be in able to make the quality and functional content which would be declared as official Arma 3 DLC. That way we would still have good and free mods to play with, but still those the best would be in able to make some money if they push harder. -
Next DLC poll what would you want it to be??
Degman replied to DJankovic's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
I would say that we should stay away from any urban improvements right now, as engine is heavy like this already. I would go for Naval DLC, as the game is really missing a proper naval warfare. Just imagine CSAT versus USA - the Pacific hell is repeating again! Working aircraft carriers, submarines, transport boats and destroyers. An orgasm ! Yeah, and some huge terrain, mostly the water, with some real data from the Pacific..... baaaaaa ! -
Any news on selection of a new assault rifle for the French Armed Forces ? I am interested because I know that Croatian VHS-2 made it's way on the top in a competition.
-
By that logic we let these monsters win and we make a good system look like something bad in eyes of the people. If I buy weapons for me and my paramilitary formation, start going around Croatia killing the innocent, saying loud "Im a democrat! I'm a democrat!", does that make the Democracy a bad system ? I mean, it is bad this or that way, but I am making a point here. We should not reject something just because some idiots in the past used to scream that they are part of it. I'm an anti-fascist! I'm an anti-fascist! I will open concentration camps and burn all the Jews, Slavs, blacks and gypsyes. Hurah!

This is exactly why I would prefer to stick with 'Stalinism', instead of the Communism. The Communism (Socialism) is an idea of a system in which the people works in order to contribute to the society, with no government to divide them. I would write more, but it is enought to say that Stalin wasn't a Communist, but just another dictator and fascist working against its own people in order to accomplish his egoistic goals. That is exactly the opposite from the Communism.
-
Well, I would prefer to stay with 'Stalinism', as the Communism is pure idealism of uthopia that we can partly include in the politics for good. Socialism = social = good for the people. Stalin used to call himself a Communist, but he was just another fascist in different package. Socialism worked out well in former Yugoslavia and it still wasn't in its half, especially full light. Also, I really, really doubt that USA is doing anything because of their soft heart, but only profit and interests. That's how the world functions today. Both Western and Eastern governments invents terrorism, crisis, etc in order to fill their pockets and spread their sphere of influence. Let's not even mention the military industry, free market and such as things. Of course, nothing of these justifies obvious Russian aggression on the Ukraine, but we don't have to select our favurite side and praise it like the last ignorants of human waste. USA had its moments too and it shouldnt be considered to be 'a good guy'.

Marksmen DLC: Concerns regarding suppressors

You are paying for the weapons only (as the supporter of the Bohemia Interactive Studio), while platform update (bipods, weapon resting, AI behaviour, etc) will be free to everyone. -
ARMA 3 Addon Request Thread
Degman replied to max power's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Bad exampler over ^^ there. Chernarus is too much based on eastern Europe shitholes, it has a way too much forests, hills and let's not even mention the rest of it. The Europe is mostly beautiful and you seriously should see some pictures before making judgements. -
Yesterday I have converted good old OFP music into Arma 3 for my campaign's needs, as an standalone addon avaible for public. * This addon is signed for multiplayer needs, but all the credits goes to Bohemia Interactive Studios and Seventh - original authors. Every music has properly defined lenght in config and there is no bugs (what bugs could it have ?). :) Flashpoint Music Pack v1.0

New version is now avaible for download: https://mega.co.nz/#!Q4FWCTBa!X5Tk9dcSoFuOq0EPReN2ZZgYEbjPZlLDqtF5fIOo27U

Arma 3 is mostly very quitet, as there is no urban life or anything, so you should hear everything well (when not in a battle). Meh, no cyborg ears are needed to hear a car on 500-1000m incoming (not talking about its engine sound, but distance sound). When u are close to a car, you normally should hear its engine, and on some cars engines are very loud. Here's a little video of real M-ATVs: When a M-ATV is passing near you in the Arma 3, it is silent like a ghost. You dont even know that it is there until you see it.
-
I dont know if anyone had noticed, but sounds are a waaay too silent. In reality you can hear a car incoming on 500-1000m, while in Arma 3 you can not hear it's engine when you stand next to it. BIS, can we expect some progress on this ?

How about using VHS-D02 for a standard rifle ? https://scontent-b-ams.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpa1/v/t1.0-9/10292516_321089381434275_1793385087461188157_n.jpg?oh=fd451fd569964d9916faca5ce3346390&oe=555D73FD -
A new ISIS mod, picking up the ball
Degman replied to accuracythruvolume's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Newspapers and especially these online (click me! click me!) articles should not stand on anyone's way. Dont give up from your work just because they talk crap about it, without even trying to inform themselves about it. Anyway, here's something I had been working on in 2014. (a part of not-yet-released version of the Croatian Armed Forces mod - in which ISIS will be a main enemy) http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/30730197233508488/BEA086E8627234213B8E0370868903914241AFAA/ http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/30730197233529923/C5B45746C62503300DAFB65F682DB66EA8DC1850/ http://media.moddb.com/images/groups/1/6/5083/2014-12-31_00001.jpg There are also separated body parts avaible (left/right hand/leg, head and torso). I can send you models to include it into your ISIS mod, if you want so. Also, I can help with other things as well, or even stop working on my ISIS mod integrated into CROAF and help you do yours, so that there is no 100 different kinds of mods with Jihadists, each one with different stuff. -
