Please note the mix works for GL4 format missions, if you need more details pm me.:) Regards the tank speed, yes you always come back to slow from 'fast' it seems, not sure why that's not been addressed by BIS before.:confused: -
Arma 3 full analysis - The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

The bad that really grate on my nerves: AI and most all of their actions or lack of, medic system (ridiculous), vehicle handling (what happened, after all the hype of how good things would be), no rain, some animations, and finally, the rather large shift toward mainstream MP play, which in turn means, little need for good alternatives for the things mentioned prior. The good, make me smile: the look of the game graphics wise, lighting, fog, sea (not under it). There are lots of things that annoy, irritate, please, delight etc, but really its pointless putting them up. The game is as it is, and on the whole that’s how its going to stay, other than usual on-going patches/tweaks, which will still carry forward the initial (or maybe not initial) concept of the game (that's whatever you believe it to be, we all have a view on that). Oh; A few of the not needed, for me anyway: underwater, pip, future theme and that shift toward MP mainstream play..:( -

Video perhaps, seeing is far better ;) Also do you use SMK or ST movement, are they in the mod, not sure don't use COWARMOD, but I do use quite a few of the mod's that are in it. Tunnel vision thing is ACE i.e. your dying or near to it. Got to get medic quick.:) -
Maybe you could have been a little more tactical, did they already know you were there or was that first shot the opener. Nice vid though.:)

1/ Now I’m not totally sure what you mean here, perhaps a vid or diagram would help. Anyway, if you have a squad and they are engaged with the enemy, then it is hard to bring them back to another position without them wanting to protect themselves and their comrades, which you still would want them to do. So the best way is put a barrier between the enemy and your squad i.e. smoke, they will, breaking combat and reposition for you, but this may not happen in Vanilla AI, I use a heavily modded AI, so they will do much more than the stock AI. 2/ RMB to de-select, sure you must mean more than that, could you explain more. 3/ Yes here you need modded AI for best results. 4/ also sounds from aircraft, vehicles etc, but only modded for all these things.5/ Not sure about tanks, very rarely use them to any degree. 6/ For Vanilla AI, take the secondary weapon off them, common problem with Vanilla AI. However you could use modded AI, they tend not to use the secondary weapon unless needed. :) -
Thanks, just testing and mixing what others have made.. ________________ They are mod/addons used, see this. ____________________________ I tested, a lot, using many various mixes of pbo’s, finally came up with the behaviour in the vids. I have been using this mix, or one’s very much like it, since Arma, then into A2. Makes for a completely different game, far better than anything I have seen so far. But not me to thank, instead many very talented mod/addon makers, unfortunately many have since left the series.. TPW/Ollem and a few others are still carrying on the banner for AI though, thank goodness.. Oh, I'm not a scripter really, so no need to take any words back for me, however the talented ones probably are/were so maybe....;):)

TPW, you may be the one crusader that saves Arma 3 AI from the abyss, well I’m certainly keeping my finger's crossed. Would it be inappropriate to supply a shopping list of AI goodies needed..;):p

Thanks for this great terrain, it gives us an idea of what Arma 3 will be really good at, that’s great looking terrains. Thanks for sharing. Oh, agree with the other poster regards performance, I have msi fps set to max limit 70fps and it hits that at a constant rate in the air, and between 55-65fps on the ground. Really great performance.:)
