Hello there, My team mates and I want to host dedicated ArmA III server, and we need some help with hardware. Server will be for 10-20 players. What do you think about these hardware: CPU: C2D E8500 OC ~3.6-3.8 GHz MBO: G41 chipset/ddr3 1333/sata2 GPU: Intel x4500 integrated HDD: Samsung SpinPoint F3 500GB 16mb buffer or similar DL/UP: 27/13mb/s We play mostly (small)co-op missions with 10-15 player and not more than 50-60 AIs on map, without any large scripts that have heavy impact on performance. Yes, our own, community server, so it will be locked/password for public. There will be no more than 10 player, 15 is maximum. We changed our plan, we are looking for quad-core now, first is fx4130, 4gb ram and mobo with integradet gpu. We have guy in our team that have a lot of knowledge about hardware and software. Dont know about connectiont, but we already tested in lan and its worked ok with 7 player. So i dont know is there big difference between lan and dedicated server. Thanks a lot for your help. :) -

Hello there, here's the new DevUpdate for Serbian Armed Forces Modification. New Zastava M21 model, new Vest model, reworked M93 and MDU10 Camo's, new helmet. [NEW ZASTAVA M21 MODEL] The new Zastava M21 assault rifle model is done by our team member aleksa. The new model will replace the old, still with BIS AK Base. The new model will come with more detailed textures and normal maps, that are baked from high poly model. [NEW VEST] The new Mile Dragic Paragon vest model is done by our team member aleksa. [OTHER CONTENT] On these picture you can see a new PASGT Helmet in green color, without any camo(right soldier). This helmet will come in different camo variants. You also can see how new MDU10 camo look on chernarus, the new reworked M93 Camo(left soldier) and some green effects on vest, the old arma3 dust effects were replaced by green. -

Nope. We will try to add mi24 in next version. Thanks. There are already some anti terror units in current version, PTJ(eng.CTU, eng. Counter-Terroist Unit) under serbian police forces, in future we will add more units like gendarmerie, 63rd paratroop battalion, 72nd reconnaissance-commando battalion. -

So, on 1600rpm i get 2150 torque from maximum of 2850 torque? The value 2850 in right column is peakTorque in config? I creating mission where task is to deactivate five mines. In editor works fine, but on server mission end immediately. Here's my end trigger Condition: {mineActive _x} count [mina1, mina2, mina3, mina4, mina5] == 0 On Act: hint "Sve mine deaktivirane!"; tsk1 setTaskState "Succeeded"; ["TaskSucceeded",["Mines"]] call BIS_fnc_showNotification; Type: End #1 Activation: None When start mission on server, the mission end immediately, like the all mines are already deactivated. Anyone know solution? Do i need to add something to init.sqf? Thanks in advance.

Thanks. :) Didn't noticed that problem with shadows, but i will check soon. :) There's also an landrover shadow problem, proxy triangle appear. -

@Fennek We are in the same sh*t with configuration of vehicle engines, its really very annoying and frustrating. There's no any explanations from BIS how to properly make that code, there are just couple of lines on Wiki that mean nothing and there's no any help from that. Even the BIS sample tank isn't properly configured, he's going to about 42km/h and suddenly slow down to 25km/h for unknown reasons. We need more documentation from ArmA3 Developers, more tutorials and more explanations about new physx system and engines codes, not just some five lines on wiki page, not only about tanks, but about and cars, characters, tanks and everything thats is new in arma3. Just look at CE3 documentation ... -

These are an early WIP pictures. Progress of converting T-72 for our mod. It will be actually called M84A and it will be modernised and modified to M84A standards. M84A is Serbian upgrade version of T72M1 Tank with more powerfull engine (1000hp), more speed (68km/h) and addition armor, laser rangefinder, day/nigh gunner and commander sight. -

@Siege-A Thanks for having interests for our project. :) We already discussed about that on which side will be SAF. I agree with you, but there are other guys from team that think SAF need to be on OPFOR Side, we hope the BIS will release some Russians soon, that's the most reason why we set SAF to OPFOR Side. @Foxhound Thanks for sharing our mod on ArmAHolic. Serbian Armed Forces (SAF) MODIFICATION FOR ARMA III Serbian Armed Forces is a modification for popular Bohemia Interactive titles, Arma2 Combined Operations and ArmA3. SAF started its journey, as a community closed, compilation of different kinds of modifications and addons, with a custom made configs made to fit our needs. You need to have physX if you want to sounds work. simulation = "carX". As I know thats only solution for that problem. I haved same problem with converting BRDM and Landrover to my mod. Regards. -

I still have problem with respawn gear, even with that fix script. It's actually work fine only when you run MCC Sanbox. For some reason when I have it runnig I spawn with same gear that i died. -
