    Great job on this script-less version. This has been a want for so long for the large MP servers who love the mod but with the instability with the current state of the engine can't do such a thing.
  4. This is caused by an improper map size being passed to the Civ/Mil Modules. Unfortunately this is from the map config itself and not ALiVE. You can get around this by defining a TOAR roughly the same size as the entire island/world.

    Hey Maquez, Haze here, the original author of Insurgency Alive and Alive dev team member. Just wanted to let you know the next version of the mission is just about done, just waiting to release it with the next version of alive (SOON). As much effort as you have put into editing this mission the new Insurgency Framework contains way too many new goodies and fixes not to use. I have a little bit more time now to release regular updates to the framework which is good news for all. You may continue to use the framework as you always have in the past however I do have a couple requests that I don't think is too much to ask for. Could you please contain you mission posts to a single release thread if possible in the future? It would be both easier for you and the users to all communicate in a single thread about all 3 variations then to have them spread out in multiple posts. Last but not least I am asking all users of the framework state it as so clearly. For example, you may rename the mission however you feel but I ask that clearly state that its built on the ALiVE Insurgency Framework.. I request this because I need all bugs and issues directed towards me so I can get them quickly resolved. I will have a personal bug tracker link that will be inside the read-me of the framework. I can't wait for you guys to enjoy the new mission. It has defiantly come a long way. Requirements stay the same... @CBA/@ALIVE. Ill give you back your thread now. I hope you don't think I came off in any other way then enthusiastic. -Hazey

    You can de-PBO the mission, open the mission.sqm and remove the mission addon list between AddOns[] { }; and addOnsAuto[] { }; This will only work for changing which terrain pack you're using and not for other dependencies or requirements.
  9. Fucking, Amen! I wish I could have text with a sparkle effect because Amen would shine! OP is absolutely INSANE and I mean actually in-fucking-sane if he thinks ALiVE was created in just a couple weekends. Hell if you think ANY of the mods were created in just a few weekends, I would love to invite you on Teamspeak for a weekend of coding and bug fixing and listen to the rage. Forget what you know about coding, RV Engine will take what you know spin it around break something that makes perfect sense at the same exact time make something work that has no business even working... omg I love arma.

I have tested about 3x with just ALiVE and CBA and I am unable to reproduce.

    We get those RPT errors even using the normal BIS units running no mods, the inventory weight values got changed on BIS side after the patch I believe.

    Might as well just remove the ISIS units and just name them Generic Militant Unit at this point. You should have just left it the way it was.... Remember it's your mod, and not everyone is going to be happy with it Leight's but in my opinion you had it the way you wanted it originally and also the way a majority of the community wanted it. When you start feeding into every small request, you start to break things and lose track n' ambition in your project. (This same exact thing happened to me regarding German ranks in my Ascendancy mission for I44). Remember, you don't have the only unit mod... They could have easily just have gone and used another unit mod that didn't have the logos but you gave in (and I totally understand why), but now they will always want just one more little thing done. I could careless about the logo's this isn't about that. It's about you creating the mod you intended to originally create and not feeding into the pressures of small minority communities. All I want to hear from you for me to be happy is that this is a change you actually wanted to do and felt would benefit everyone. /endrant...

    - removed ISIS logo because of German restrictions Does that mean you removed it off the vehicles as well? If it does, I think that is really crappy that you decided to side with the minority and remove those logos from the main pack. IMO, you should have made a separate config that German users can use that simply changes the texture of the flag or removes it. I think its a bit unfair that the entire community has to abide by German law. -Hazey
  14. So I tested it 4 times, and Tupolov tested it a few times as well. All seems good on our end. Next step is to create a non-modded version of your mission. Zip it up and upload it to either a dropbox or google drive so we can take a look.

  16. We're talking about this one. Getting the units to use roads would be a very difficult thing to do. We're looking into slowing the units overall by type. Savage is a community member and a closed tester, he won't have access to any of that information Singh. It's also a very bad practice in these forums to ask when new versions are going to be released. It will when it's done. Have we not learned that Early Access is bad in all shapes and forms. Although you can run MCC with ALiVE, we do not recommend doing this. MCC has built in ability to take control of units and will not work correctly with our OPCOM. Any bug's or issues that become present while running MCC and ALiVE will not be addressed. Please do not report issues with ALiVE without first seeing if you can reproduce with only CBA_A3 and ALiVE. This will help us not chase invisible dragons and we can keep our focus on new features and performance fixes. Glad you got it fixed. Download seems fine for me, can you check again? Regarding AI Mods. With all the AI Mod's releasing I figured this should be said again. If you're using a mod that has any direct effects on AI's waypoint (Moving units into garrison positions, changing unit behaviors on the fly. etc..) you could be causing waypoint issues for yourself. I am not here to tell you that your AI Mod won't work. Some mod's such as ASR_AI, work fantastic in ALiVE. However, if you see weird AI Behaviors such as profiles that quit moving or stalled helicopters. You might be doing it to yourself. Just a PSA. Reporting Issues Please. Please. Please! When you notice an issue on you mission when running many mods; I beg you please don't just instantly report it on the tracker or forums. Please take the extra few minutes and attempt to reproduce with only ALiVE and CBA_A3. This will save us HOURS of chasing invisible dragons. 9/10 times it's cause by a mod conflict not even related to ALiVE. UPDATE 1.38 It broke a ton of stuff. In the next few days, please double check your reporting for accuracy. The more clear and precise we are on bug reports, the quicker we can get things fixed and focus on new and more fun feature of ALiVE.   19. Given we do have a bit of debug messages for CQB and Startup, almost 2/3's of those are both BIS and RHS module debug and object errors.

  21. The Arma community in a whole is very 'tight' I would honestly suggest just starting something from scratch. Come up with something original. As someone who has also contributed some to MSO, I personally wish for my work to sleep silently in Arma 2. I have learned a lot since than, new game; new start. Just my two cents, good luck with what ever you choose to do.
  22. The only missions that are updated and truly supported every release that the missions that come packaged with ALiVE. The mission from the website are user missions placed by permission to show what people have done with ALiVE. Those mission's are only supported by the creator and not ALiVE team.
  23. Hey Shay, Been using MCC for months now for our operations, one small feature request if I may for a future release; 'the ability to silently use the mission generator without a dialog pop up for the players'. I would be most ecstatic having an ability like that.
