I've seen that but that seems to be the class names for the actual infantry with the gear on, not the individual items. I need the class names for the individual items to be added to ammo boxes etc. The backpacks are there which is helpful but I can't see the helmet, plate carrier and uniform class names. An example being "U_B_CombatUniform_mcam" for multicam uniforms. If you don't have them easily available do you know the best way for me to look them up?

Hi dude. Do you have the class names for the plate carriers, uniforms and helmets? We want to add them to the gear management system we use on our server as it doesn't auto detect items.

For some reason, running ACRE on our server stops anyone being able to connect. Any ideas?

Is there a server key? I can't find one but I could just be being dense.

We tried using ACRE2 but some of my friends found that their radio's stopped working after they had died and been revived/respawned and they would have to restart Arma to get it to work again. The direct voice channels worked and the radios would make the necessary sounds to imply they were transmitting but none of them could transmit over the radio. I'm not sure if it is the mission or the mod, but any info or tips on how to stop this would be really great. We are on a hosted server, not a dedicated. No mod restrictions. Running a domination mission currently, ACRE parameters in mission setup make no difference.

Has V2 been released yet and I've just missed it or are you still working on it?

Ah my bad! In future you need to say something like that first haha! From your original post it simply sounded like you meant he just recoloured it and it wasn't right. I had no idea you meant that he hadn't used the correct plate carriers. @da12thMonkey I have to agree with you there. Modelling is a lot harder and more complicated than skinning anyway. +1 I would love to be able to to 3D modeling. I'd probably make some silly made-up gun for the future :P Playing with modern firearms over and over can get a bit tedious. It would be nice to see some new designs. Obviously I don't want laser gun style weapons, lasers are boring

Just because there are a lot of people who claim that doesn't mean you have to tarnish those with legitimate reason to say something like that with the same brush... And before anyone asks no I obviously can't give out his name on an internet forum, that would be stupid. Naturally you will probably think I'm making this up because of that... and that every other guy who says it comes up with some excuse like it. Go ahead and think what you want, he's not going to suddenly stop existing because you don't believe me. -------------------------------------------------------------------- I guess that depends on how much time you have spent discussing tax returns with him. If you spend all your free time discussing tax returns I guess it would be possible. However, I never once mentioned the word expert or that I had expert knowledge. The only thing I have said I have fairly solid info on is the fact that there is no 'set camo uniform' for SAS but that is fairly common knowledge anyway. If you think you know how it should be go out and make it and you can call your mod SAS or UKSF or whatever... but people are still going to go to your mod and say "why does the way you made your guys make them SF" @Messiah Well I haven't posted his name or anything that isn't already known about the SAS so why not? They aren't sworn to secrecy over every little detail about their life in the SAS. There are even documentaries about the SAS on youtube where you can find a lot of this info out. I see your point, it was probably a mistake to mention that because it makes little difference but I think the main point is that I have friends in the army who I can talk to. I guess the point I was getting at is that because I am British, I am more likely to know people in the British army than someone who is not British. Obviously there will be people who may or may not be British that do know more people than I do in the British Army. Perhaps I should have said "Because I live in Britain I have lots of friends in the British army"? Maybe that would be more appropriate.

I've seen plenty of images of the British SAS in Afghanistan wearing either full DDPM or MTP... as well as a mixture between DDPM, DPM and MTP. So what he has added could be SAS or it could be regular British troops. If I make him an SAS beret to add to the mod would that make them SAS? There are no set camo's for the SAS either. They wear what is best for the area they are going to be in. Being British and having several friends in the military, including one in the SAS I think my information is fairly solid. Obviously my SAS friend can't tell me a lot about what he does etc but he can definitely tell me what camo he wears.

Steam workshop works just as well as SU does. They just aren't using SW at the moment. p.s. any news on when ACRE will be released to the public?

Could you possibly add a class list text file so I can add the various clothes and vests to a script me and my friends use to equip ourselves before missions (similar to the thing Dslyecxi made to preview clothes) as well as tweak a mission I'm making. class lists for the following would be great: - Vests (plate carriers etc) - Clothes - Helmets - AUG - AUG ammo I want to make a mission with UK and Aus cooperation but make the UK troops have the same clothes as Aus (because your skin is sweet) but different plate carriers/helmets for the UK troops (which I can do currently). What I can't do is add/remove AUG's and its ammo as I don't have the class lists. Currently I have 2 blank items in each UK soldiers inventory and I'm not sure if they are ammo or weapons?

Another thing, is it possible to add more of each item to the equipment (rigs, clothes etc) ammo boxes? Currently the clothing boxes only have 1 of each carrier, outfit, helmet etc in them. If you have 10 people playing then only 1 person can change items without adding loads of your pre-made ammo boxes. I have created a Supply Crate with 50 of each item in as a temporary fix for that so it's not a big deal. Just an idea for future releases if you make one :) Some of textures can be a bit shiny in some lights. I don't know if that is fixable though. I did a skin for a different game and photoshop made it all shiny and I couldn't work out how to stop it. Keep up the good work!

Hi Massi, Constructive criticism here ;) I like the mod A LOT but the MTP has a bit too much brick red colour compared to what it looks like in RL (it's more of a beige brown colour on the actual uniform). I know it's ridiculously hard to find a good sized sample of British MTP ;) I've uploaded a couple of photos here to show you what I mean: A3 vs RL http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s478/GingaJonny/BritMTP_zps65ca53f6.png A3 vs A2 http://i1053.photobucket.com/albums/s478/GingaJonny/BritMTP_zps7283518e.png Also me and a friend think it would be better to use the standard green helmets and carriers (or your tan ones/a Woodland DPM one if you make them) on the Woodland DPM unit if you do an update to it. The MTP carriers etc overpower the Woodland DPM so you can't see it as well (we are going to use ammo crates to swap them around so no biggy). Since you have done such a great job with both DPM outfits it's a shame the Woodland DPM is a harder to see with the MTP! Desert DPM guys are fantastic. The Desert DPM even has the slightly faded look it gets after being washed hundreds of times :D I've voted 5 stars on armaholic anyway since it is an awesome mod and I couldn't do better myself haha! Thanks.

It's made of a thinner, more breathable fabric to the sleeves to allow for maximum venting. I'm not in the military but I use a UBACS for Airsoft to wear under my carrier. p.s. Nice mod! Any chance of making a model with British MTP instead of multicam? I'm rubbish at making stuff like this ^_^

I paid over an hour and a half ago. Still no game and I could have downloaded the game by now. 3 Minutes ago I read a message from BI saying they are working on it but it's still ridiculous. Why didn't they just send out CD-Keys instead of this BS activation link to some other website? Can't even email support as all the websites and stuff have been down for over half an hour. I'm only annoyed because they KNEW the game was going to be insanely popular and they clearly did a half assed job of preparing their servers for the massive influx of activity that was inevitable. That and my original purchase said it failed... then as I was about to buy it off steam I got a confirmation email????? WHAT!?

I keep getting kicked off the server I play on for having JSRS 1.5 running... They have updated JSRS to 1.5 but it still kicks me. I can get on fine if I don't load up JSRS 1.5 Any idea's as to what is causing it?
