John Sonedecker has created some very convincing animations on a tight budget. Best animations I've ever seen in the milsim genre. 16-y3OF8Nzc XjyIyBGljdY

Giving back : promoting Arma3 on social media
kimozabbi replied to jerryhopper's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
The best way to advertise Arma is by circulating an intense co-op video that focuses on teamwork, tactics, and most importantly, a shitload of firepower. A slow paced video just isn't going to cut it, the goal is to make the audience say "that game looks fucking awesome!". My suggestion would be for some guys to get together and make a gameplay video similar to this - SiI5fIBeHSk Obviously the video wouldn't be narrated and music is a definite no-no. It needs to be the raw sound of guys communicating with each other and gunfire, LOUD gunfire. -
Bikini girl animation needs to shake that booty more!

Hey I remember you commented You obviously can't even make up your own mind.

Arma 3: Community wishes & ideas- NO DISCUSSION
kimozabbi replied to Maio's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
I want all 889 ideas posted in this thread to be implimented and bug tested by Q4 2012. It better happen or me no buy. -
You nailed it. I've been playing OFP/arma for over ten years now but still need to keep my missions relatively simple because I'm not computer savvy and don't have a good understanding of scripting. I think any features that will help make arma more accessible to new players without dumbing down the gameplay are worth implimenting.

I'm working on a 'aggressive interrogation' mod, detainees are given a few kicks and bashes for 'intelligence gathering' purposes. :D

I have never been scuba diving before so I don't know anything about cavitation but in the diver propulsion videos on youtube there is no cavitation bubbles koXb_BSmONg&feature=relmfu

The terrain shown during the Mi-48 footage looks difficult and dangerous for armored and wheeled vehicles, ATGM teams will be so hard to spot. Even infantry units will struggle fighting their way through those nasty looking hills, the assigned pointman is going to be a bundle of nerves.

x2 you guys are the best!

I wish the video was on Youtube because then we could save it. Thanks PurePassion for working on a translation, that will be really good.

Holy shizzle that water looks so real.

Who else here accepted the Alpha test email invitation, it said testers are picked randomly, I want to know who else here will be testing. -
In the NZGamer article that was posted today Ivan Buchta says Arma veterans will hopefully find the AI more cunning.

Your comment is based on pure supposition, it may well turn out that the new underwater element becomes one of Arma3's most popular features.
-
Thanks. I don't want to get my hopes up but it would be great if they have some new info or screenshots or video or something, anything.
-
Getting close now, does anyone have any more info about this, I can't find anything on the website.

This threads going places! Alright it sucks...but I challenge you to watch this video and NOT laugh out loud. I dare you! 7OEnWb6URhI

I would say lots, definitely more than ten thousand, probably more than one hundred thousand, possibly more than one million. I don't know exactly how many people bought Arma2, I'll hazard a guess that over ten thousand copies have been sold, Arma3 will likely outsell Arma2, most people who own Arma3 will experiment with the new editor and features and make at least one underwater mission, even if it's just a basic mission like placing one diver in the water to swim around for the sake of curiosity, many people will make multiple underwater missions, some people will create incredible underwater missions and share them with the community, a handful of people will create masterpeice underwater missions that many people will want to play several times.
