My unit includes this in their modpack. I love it... expect for one thing. Would it be possible for you to change some of the weapon platforms (specifically the AR platform) to be uniform in recoil. I was playing with the Jack Carbine (I have a BCM in real life, and this is just sweet). My complaint is that the recoil is WAY too low. I can light up a target at 300 meters full auto and get every shot on target. Standing, at 50 yards, I can get a 1 inch group full auto. Is there a way you could tweak it to be a bit more realistic?

Is there a chance to make body armor realistic? This mod nerfs it quite a bit, and modern plates can withstand dozens of rounds of 556

Is there any way to make it a bit more realistic? It seems right now, mounting your weapon turns it into a laser gun. With an AKM, I can hit a man sized target in fully automatic fire at 300 yards.

I'll try to benchmark it tonight or tomorrow. I have a test to study for so it might be some time.

I have 2 gigs of vRAM. I find I get better performance if I input the value of aprox. vRAM which you can find in Dxdiag. Here are my specs for anyone who's interested. i5 3570k GTX 670 FTW Sig 2 Gskill 8gb 1600

I would have it to where you have 2 options. If you have a sling, you simply drop your gun and pull your pistol/sidearm quickly. If not, you can either chose to drop the weapon to the ground, or slowly put it on your back and pull.

I recently copied over my Arma 2 launch settings over to A3, and it seemed to increase performance greatly. I can now play at 60 fps on over 50 man servers and actually enjoy the alpha. Here's what I put: "-maxmem=8192" "-maxvram=4042" "-cpucount=4" "-exthreads=7" -nosplash -skipintro Obviously, you're going to have to change some of the numerical values. If you have a quadcore CPU or higher, leave exthreads at 7. This fixed the lag (Somewhat) for me, so I'd like to share it with the community if no one has done so already.

Pretty bad performance for me. I can't play without lagging badly past 1.5k meters. I'm running a GTX 670 FTW and a i5 3570k. It would seem I should be getting better fps. Alas, it's only Alpha. I'm sure it'll be better.

When I play A2, I get decent fps when I'm playing normally, yet sometimes it bugs out and drops all the way down to around 10 fps. When I press escape or open any game menu, I instantly go back to 60 fps. Does anyone have a fix for this or know the problem?

I've recently gotten into playing with AI, and at large ranges, it seems I see the enemy clearly but I cannot spot. Usually this is done automatically, but even when pressing space and hovering over the enemy I can't target him. Please help.

I've been recently having problems with the voip in Arma 2. Some people I can hear just fine, while others I can't hear at all. I can hear some people over direct but not over global and vice versa. I have acre and ace installed but I don't run them as expansions as playing. Any help?

Flying helicopters like the littlebird during the day is unbelievably hard because the MFD is shadowed out by the sun. Is there a way to turn on lighting on or make is so that I can see the MFD and know my level. It's making flying certain helicopters extremely hard because I cannot land properly. Thanks

Really? I did not think that was the problem. When I go to the task manager and check the performance, only 25 percent of the CPU is being used and 50 percent of the ram. Maybe Arma 2 isn't utilizing all the cores properly?

I recently bought Arma OA and I found out that I have a hard time running it. I have 8 gigabytes of ram and a quad2core cpu running at 2.4ghz. My video card is a gtx 570 2g. I can run games like crysis and bf3 on ultra settings at a 1920x1200 resolution fine at 60 fps. When I try to run arma I barely get 30. Whether on ultra settings or lowest possible I get the same fps. I have disabled vertical sync and all my drivers are updated.
