    i dont smoke cigs, so ill just imagine im smoking a joint... it is legal where i live so fuck yea!! Thanks for this Joint smoking mod... Considering that its being passed as a recreational drug in many states. maybe you can make a Joint also instead of just cigarettes? im not sure what your cigs look like (ie if they have a filter but a joint looks similar so im just making a goofy request i guess) I know its a stupid request but i would LOVE it!!

    where is this setting and can we confirm that this works or doesnt work as stated a few posts up??? I thought it was default behavior for the ai to hear you, not that i had to pass a setting to the game... Do i i have to declare a variable in the mission file for the AI to be able to hear me or do i have to just run the mod on the server like usuall?? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [#RANT] I HAVE TO AGREE ..... the access to documentation is kinda crappy .I am just trying to find the information about "AI can hear us" feature but i cannot access it because of this issue..[#ENDRANT]
  4. there Are Very Few Native ARMA 3 maps that have Large Cities. Like fallujah.. Al though there are a small hand full of Native (native meaning - no mods required) NONE of them have really large cities, or for that matter ARE a large city map(like fallujah). Most of them are ARMA2 ports like yours. @Icebreaker, you honestly make (from my observation) the most complete maps. with the fewest errors. I am truly happy you have decided to continue to make maps for the ARMA series. and ARMA 3 specifically!

    oh my fucking god....... i know trim and power are two different things..... HOWEVER, It never ceases to amaze me that people cannot read what im typing... I simply used trim as an EXAMPLE of a LIKE setting... trim is a offset used to correct and stabilize the flight path.... however think of this...... a high "FORWARD" Offset of TRIM... would make you move forward.... now if you set that trim so your going forward.... and so that it puts you at a certain speed.. that would be exactly what teddy was talking about.... but hey trim and Power are different.... :) They ARE related........ trim is a control of Power,,, its a control of the overall direction of Power output to the rotor blades... but hey what do i know..... im not a pilot. I was just pointing out that teddy was suggesting a limit on speed threw a setting. the Autohover option limits your speed by removing the full translation of movement from your stick to the rotor head... and in turn you could potentially limit speed... by limiting stick movement translation.

    no your wrong he means a speed governor.... IE a way to limit the max speed manually.... this has NOTHING TO DO WITH AUTOPILOT... Im not screaming ... just capitalization for emphasis.. For example: I want to fly NO MORE then 100mph... ok so i mouse scroll or ACE interact. and set the governor to 100mph.. and i cannot go faster then 100mph.... make sense... has Nothing to do with auto pilot.... Think of setting your trim in a heli.!

    C2 -Command And Control

    @MAD_CHEESE, Thank you for the updates and development of this mod. I have a question about the video. when you were throwing smoke there were lil white dots to indicate the path of the smoke.. Is that a part of the mod.. As i have seen it before, In dyslexi's grenade handling script that has yet to be released... (oh arma gods how i would love him to release that script/mod) Is that something seperate or a part of C&C2
  11. I have a small bug I need to know if anyone else is experiencing it.. With mos Revive scripts there is a "DRAG" and CARRY" option. Upon entering these actions and animations i get NO FootStep Sounds... IE.. I pick someone up to carry them and after selecting the action my avatar doesn't make any foot step sounds anymore... Same with the drag animation. I have had these types of problems with other sound mods, IE certain sounds missing. Can anyone else confirm that DS removes the footsteps from those anims.?? I am using a host of other mods however none of them affect the ingame unit Sounds.

    Wow that never came up in my searches. ill give it a go right now . It seems reading the last few posts in that thread that there are some missing assets . but it should function for what i need it to. (greek civilian insurgents) Thank you very much for that link and im off testing. Edit: After testing, it does not work correctly with alive. ill shoot the idea there way as well.     @sparfell_19, Hie, I was wondering if you could... Is there any way you would have the time to make an Indi group. I have noticed there is no Rebel Greek faction any where. I have searched for a few days now and have downloaded a few mods to see if i can find some low tec greekish faction on the Independant side. Most of what i have found on the INDI side are takisoldiers from arma 2, russian insurgents, a few other nation factions, but no lowtec local greek faction(on the INDI side). Something like the FIA (on BLUFOR side) but on the Independant side. Can you? Please?!

    Open your eyes... Rabolo just posted a month ago... how is that AGES...? and how is this mod ABANDONED... ?? I honestly feel as though you have NO clue what you are talking about... Rabolo updates his mod when he sees fit/ has the time to.. not posting EVERYDAY ... does NOT mean that he has abandoned this mod!!! Its only been a month... wholy shit ... Oh and Further more... the enhanced version that raptoer has posted was just released .... IT IS NOT A HALF A YEAR OLD...... you obviously cannot read dates and times... its like a week or to old as it was JUST posted in its own thread recently...
  18. yea, you guys this is a features of suppression if you are shooting there is a random chance thell jump or do different animations as if they are reacting to your fire. this has been embedded for over a year now. all that means is its working properly. :) i have to be honest some times when i get shot at i will fall strait prone or to the side depending on where i am. I could see to remove that one animation but ill wait for ollem to chime in here.
  19. yea same here moonchild as i reported to tetet in pm my server didnt actually crash. i was just dissconnected. and as soon as i was in the server browser i was able to see and reconnect as if nothing had happened.. however the mission was no longer running i was at the mission selection screen

    numrollen maybe your missunderstood me ill try to be clearer. I set my precision in the .ARMA3profile for ALL AI. I DONT want AI to NOT be able to hit me ... that would be stupid.. and pointless as i could just run around and do what ever i want and not get shot.... I DO want my AI to be able to shot on my possition. supress me and hit me if i dont move to cover... that makes things interesting.. And I DO want the ai to be able to hit me. if a .50 chance of AI hitting you is TOO MUCH i cant help you because anything less is just too fucking easy... I set their precision at 0.50 because it ADDS fun to the game... your NOT one shot by an AI at 700m with ironsights... they lay down supressive fire send flanking units, and close the gap and attack you... with a 0.5 precision you have the oppertunity to have prolonged gunfights, its awesome and everyone in my community LOVES IT... sorry i couldnt be of assistance. good luck on your AI settings. p.s. with a precision =0.5 the ai waste almost a WHOLE mag before landing ONE hit on a leg or an arm at 100m-300m..... at 700m there pretty much just suppressing. if they land a hit its because your(whoever is playing) are a fool and stoodin one spot too long...

    are there any placeable fires?? if i remember correctly the arma 2 version had modules or objects you could place that would start a fire in that area . i cannot seem to find it

    numrollen, i use tpwcas with asrai. the way i test how accurate i want my AI to be is by using the Supression effect from tpwcas. basically I set the ai's skill way down and would walk into their line of site. Based on 1) if they even activated the supression effect 2) how long was the supression effect activated for "ie, how accurate is their fire") 3) how long they supressed me before they actually landed a hit... so i would walk out in from of enemy AI and let them shoot at me. i would wait and time how long the supression effect would be active. and how long it took them to actually hit me. so to shorten the story after testing for Several hours one day i came to the conclusion that for me. I like the AI precision to be set at 0.5. to lengthen the story, I use 0.5 because the AI will shoot at you, you will be supressed you will need to make accurate fire before they land a hit but you. you cannot linger in the open, but you will NOT be killed outright by an ai 700 m away with an ironsight ak. now i said all this because I too use ace3 and i honeslty havent changed my AI Precision setting at all. and i find i still get the same results.
