Default the doors to closed. In Arma2 buildings we canenter have the doors defaulted to open. Minor thing but seemed odd to me, and would be better if they defaulted to closed. As somebody added in the thread I started; some,if not many should need breaching to get in. I guess I'd say the same for some compound gates.

Wow, great tips, thanks Hanzu. But I managed to stalk the bmp with the LAV again, and sniped a few guys. Called in the anti armour barrage which missed again. (I think they may have homed in on the nearby trucks.) Then I stalke the tank with the LAV- well chuffed that taking that out with the LAV gun. Came at it from the east. He spotted me turned to shoot but I unloaded about 40 hit on him- a very good moment for me :D

Any tips for that insurgent base with the tanks and bmp. I've stumbled upon it with a LAV and no AT assets. I have managed to stalk the bmp once with the LAV, but the Arty doesn't appear take take the tank out.

Do like downloading games though when I have weekend itch for a new game. Save the hassle of goingto the shop to find that they don't have stock ;)

Yeah I moved away from Steam because of only basic knowledge of getting mods to work and Steam seemed like extra hassle. Also, for some games thei patches can be later I think?

Got my USB adaptor for teh 360 controller on the way from Amazon. Presuming we can map different keys to the various buttons. What have others mapped for quick use? I've got the trigger sorted ;) Guess I'll want these handy; Prone, crouch, stand, Walk scope sights and zoom reload interaction.

Good tips there, thanks, especially the new launcher for CO. Sorry to be a pain but my DL from gamersgate took so long I want to get tit right first time My Arma2 directory is C programe files- Bohemia Interactive- ArmA2 So I install the OA and later British and PMC in that ArmA2 folder?

Thanks DaveP Need to order my USB to wireless the 360 controler and headset. Then you use Teamspeak, right? Also- I'm going to be a real rookie because I usually toy with the lad's shooters on Xbox and go more for strategy/tactics stuff myself. So I'm going to be so sloowww for a short while. :)

Jumping on this one- So I bought Combined ops from Gamersgate. Downloading and giving Arma2 a spin tonight. (Downloading OA tomorrow) Do I need to patch Arma 2 before intalling OA in the same directory as Arma 2? (Weekend I will top up on Brits and PMC)

Thanks DaveP. By the way, some of your Volunteer Battalion vids was to final push to buy it again. (Lost the serial manual and so serial key to box version of OA). Figure I get used to the contols and go for a realist leaning team. Liquidpinky. Wpadder is softwars, what does Xpadder add exactly?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I guess some stuff will still need mapping to the keyboard? Downloading combined operations now.
