    Why are Insignias removed from MP-Arsenal?

    Hi Imperator Pete, the Code used above can be directly inserted in the initbox of a Unit / Ammobox and the Arsenal apperas, there is no need for a script. It was also prefered from a Developer in the Thread instead of using a little bit "complicated" Scriptversion to add the Arsenal: How to use Virtual Arsenal like the Virtual Ammobox System? So my main question Stays, why was the Insignias removed from the VA-System above? As a wrote before, i can understand why Faces and Voices was removed, but not why Insignias. And how i can get the "whitebox" Version with all aspects enabled?

    ELITExSTRIKER, if you where Globally Banned. Then not by this Tool. Global Bans can only be forced by BattlEye, and not by Tools like the Arma 3 Bans. So BattlEye was Ban you and you need to get in contact with BattlEye ( http://www.battleye.com/ ). In this Forum or this Thread you can't get any help on this Topic. This tool only share the bans between several Server Owner. And are not able to ban you Globaly as far as i know.
  6. Hi i've got a question about ALiVE, i was setup a Mission on Bornholm. But i got a notice on every Start. "Tgere are 90 objectives for this OPCOM instance! Please lower the objective count for performance reasons, suggested is below 80!" how i lower the count. I don't find a solution or option in the OPCOM Module.

  8. Hello, just setting up a Mission. Placed Zeus and also the GameMode Module and syncing both Zeus Modules. And now the Second Zeus on the Server has no rights to spawn anything. Only set Markers. What i need to do, to fix this? Here is a Picture of the Setup. I want, that Zeus is able, to see the Players on the 3d Map with Icons, that he not need to search the players. Or is this not possible with Zeus. When i not use, the the GameMode Module. Both Zeus can set anything, but don't see players on the 3d Map with their Icons. I hop i can describe it correctly what i want.
  9. Ok when only this works. Then i don't understand, why Bohemia inculde this Module. I will try this and hope BI will fix the Module. Or give out a better Documentation.
  10. Hello, i just setup a Mission for internal Training. I use Zeus as Realtime Editor for Instructors. But i have now a small Problem with the set Callsign Module. And need a little bit help. i use this on in my description.ext Respawn = 3;RespawnDelay = 10; respawnVehicleDelay = 60; RespawnDialog = 0; respawnTemplates[] = {"MenuPosition"}; respawnOnStart = 0; Since there should be more then 1 Respawns available. But now, when People join. They just start at the first Respawn Point instead of the placed location. Also the assigned Callsign wíth the set Callsign Module is gone. So my question is. What i need to do. That the assigned Callsign will stay also after Respawn? And maybe, how the People start on first join. At the Placed location instead of the Respawn Point.
  11. Arma 3 ist futuristic since it plays in 2035, and some Vehicles are Fictional Futuristic concepts like the Huron. Futuristic doesn't mean at all, that we need Warp Drives, Laser Guns or any other other Since-Fiction assets. To call something futuristic.
  12. Personally i would also prefer a today setting with known Weapons and Vehicles or a setting in some Historical Wars like Korean or Vietnam. But i personal mean, one Problem in Arma 3 is, the Copy and Paste thing done by most vehicles/vehicle parts (RCWS, Turrets, Drones e.g). It feels like, that some ideas where missing, by creating the Units/Vehicles. Also it feels like, that OPFOR gets the cool stuff. And BLUFOR unimaginative stuff. And there is sometimes some lack of missing Features, witch needs to be handled and delivered by the Community itself (Modularity of the Taru "Xeno Taru Pod Mod" e.g.). That means not, that BI don't work to improve the game. The new features delivered by BI for free, are great. But as i wrote before, i mean there is some lack of individual content and missing features. And the chosen Setting isn't my preferred choice. Most time i play Mods like RHS Escalation or FFAA 6.0. Since most Weapons and Vehicles in the Mod are known by me.

    13€ DLC, hefty price for 2 choppers

    Personally i feel also, that the DLC is a little overpriced for the content delivered with the DLC (Content not Features), compared to A2 DLCs. But when people was buy the DLC Bundle for 19,99€ they pay only 9,25€ instead of 12,99 for Helicopter and Marksman DLC. So we are near the DLC Prices from Arma 2 (Release Price 8,99€). Personally i think, the major Problem of the DLC, is the lack of playable content added compared to A2 DLCs. Also many people think, that most features introduced in the DLC was need to already be included in A3. That's why people doesn't agree to pay 12,99€ for the DLC. And also the high amount of cash prizes in the Make Arma not War contest, rais maybe the opinion that something goes wrong. But thats only my personally opinion. I've bought already the DLC Bundle when it was available, and was also hopping getting more playable content with the DLCs.

  15. Personally i think, BI have the wrong focus. Why we need a Launcher? We have Arma3Sync or/and PlayWithSix (to quote only two), this Tools also Cover the Option to Download Mods and Update it, if necessary. And what's with Mods on Steam-Workshop? Most modder was say, No to this Option in cause of loose the whole controle over his own Mods. And what BI does? They gave nothing about these and implement it. And please don't say, when you don't want to use it, don't use it. What is with People, stealing Content and publish it on Steam Workshop under they own Name? What's they option to remove such things from Steams Crapshop. For me, the whole Arma 3 Series goes the wrong way. We loose talented Modders in cause of the path, Bohemia is going with Arma 3. Most people i know are switch back to Arma 2. As a result of decisions Bohemia was made in Arma 3. I don't say that Arma 3 is bad at all. But Bohemia please go back an hear better to the Community and they wishes. It's not a solution to hope that modders would be do the work for you, and bring that, what most people wishes. But that's alls my opinion. My Question is: "Is Bohemia going the right way with Arma 3?"

Since there are many rumors about this and some upcoming and already released Games will Support it, it would be great if Arma 3 will also Support it maybe in Future.     I wasn't say, that there is no love at all. But some parts missing love. So i feel like in the state, that i need to wait for the Community, to get Equipment i want to use, to made some MilSim Stuff. And also enhance the Game, where the Developers only do Copy Paste Stuff. I also don't say, that they wasn't upgrade the features. BI can made a good quality. I like some of the new Feautes and Animations, but there is one Animation i personally dislike. It's the Walk Animation with a Maingun. It looks like a wannebe Rambo, with one Hand hanging down and one Hand on the Trigger. For me there are to many situations in the Virtual World, that take me out of my MilSim expierence. Ok i was play a lot Arma 2 in the last and today (Vanilla and ACE). And i got a bunch of different Vehicles and Weapons where i can choose from. On Arma 3 i miss the range of Weapons and Vehicles. And when i go in the Editor and have several Models, that looks same in most ways for me. And what's with the Campaign. Personally i don't like the Campaign in cause of the Story. The Story confuses me at some Point, and some times it feels inconsequent for me. I was like the OFP, A1 and A2 Campaigns but i can't get in touch with the A3 Campaign. BTW thats also a personal Opinion. Also i miss a Coop Campaign at all.

    @Soulis6 I try to explain what i dislike. The futuristic setting was chosen by Bohemia, to give the Developer some freedome in creativity. But what gave us this creativity? We got many Copy Paste things, like the Drones. Every faction has the same Drones. Only the Texture was changed. We got some parts already known from Arma 2 (Mohawk aka Merlin as example). And as i wrote before, personally i think the futuristic setting at all was the wrong way (my Opinion). But the way, that the Game actaully goes, isn't perfect. But back on the freedom and Copy Past thing. The M5 Sandstorm, they only Put the Merkava IV body, and screw a MLRS System on Top. BTR-K Kamysh and the AFV-4 Gorgon share the Same main Gun, which was already used in Arma 2 on the Pandur. Lets talk about the Arty, correct me if i am totaly wrong, but they also share the same Gun Turret Model (Opfor / Blufor). Where i could find the love from the Developer on such things? A 143 Buzzard looks also like a Model, i already know from Arma 2. That's the Point where i say, there is no love at all. Next point is, they bring a Update, that massivly change the behavior of Weapons and Soldiers. But there is no way to counter these. Ok they work on the Dev Branch, but we need to wait for a Release of this Patch. And what we can do, as i am not the only one, dislike the Weapon Sway feature, during the wait? We can't Downpatch back to 1.22 and we can't disable it. And that's also a thing where i say, that's the wrong way. ACE was have a nice fatigue System, why they not adept the work, that was already down? It would not be the first time, BI takes stuff from the Community and use it as fixed Part in the Game. Did you now understand my Point of View?

    Ok at this Point stop and back to Topic please. To say something to the Development Costs. Bohemia Produce and Publish his own Titles. Battlefield is produced by DICE and published by EA. That's a little bit differnt. As i write a few times ago. Bohemia makes a good work, they want to made a good Game for all. But at some Point in my Opinion, they take wrong direction. For me the light Futuristic settings, isn't my choice. I want to have Weapons and Vehicles i know and maybe i was use, when i was in the Army. To the DLCs, Karts was in front a April fool. And later it was added to the Game, since a few people was asking about. You was pay 1.49EUR in Europe for a little bit fun, out of MilSim. And when i am right, the whole earnings from this DLC, was spent to the Red Cross. And what was added? Not much as you expect. You got repaints of an Uniform already exist ingame. And some singns are very Simple and fast done. And the Kart, i was active in rFactor (Sim Racing with Mod Support). And a talented Modder or Developer would build a Kart very fast, since it have no Gauges and only need simple animations. And the Devs are familiar with the Engine, so they are maybe faster then some other Modders. Also BI was also Test his new DLC Feature for Steam. Zeus was annoucend as free DLC, Bootcamp is annouced as free Update to say one word to this Topic. But for me, i play since OFP. And i was like to Play US, USMC, UK and German Soldiers with their old or today equipment. But what we got on Arma 3? The futuristic Setting was choosen by BI, to gave the Developer some freedom for her creativity. But this freedom results in some Copy paste for some Models or Parts. So it feels at some point, that there was no love during development. And that's the Point, where i say. That BI going the wrong way. In front the futuristic setting for my personal Opinion. Than the feeling in the game, that some Parts in the Game, where done with no Love. And some features added to the game, was need more balance (Like the Weapon sway), since there is no option to work against the sway.

    After i was read the last six pages, i want to say something to my Topic. At all, Arma 3 has nice features included. But what happen with the Content, we got "Future" Weapons and all play in 2035. We have an alternate "Reality" in Arma 3 which was used, to give the Developer some free Hand to create things. But what we got? All Factions have the same Drone only Repaints, some weapons are only Copy Paste. For me it don't feel like a Simulation. And it feel like, there is no love from some devs in the Game (My opinion). When i look out, what Mods are created for A3, i see Weapons of Today not of the Future, also in the Wishes Thread i read most time, today Weapons and Vehicles. Personally i don't like the Semi-Futuristic setting. I don't say, the quality what BI Provides is bad, but when i look out, most Communitys i see use Weapon Mods, where they get Today Weapons back. Personally i want a island like Chernarus and Weapons/Vehicles i know by myself which are in service Today. And what i read, i am not alone with these. But BI Says, that this must be done, by the Community. The new Features and Ideas, that BI include in the Game are not Bad at all. But for me it feels like, they focus some times on things, that can wait. Like the last Patch, with the new Weapon Sway. Ok as a few post before, some one write. It brings more Tactic in the game, since you need to think, before you act. But on the other Hand, we don't have real things, to compense the Effect (usable Bipods or Weaponrest). Also a good trained Soldier can run more then 50 Meters and aim better like the Soldiers ingame. And now to the AI, most people wish better AI behavior. But that's not easy at all, since the AI must be computed. So it needs resource. We want good performance on the one Hand and on the other Hand, more complexity like real actiong KI.

    Ok but when i am a Modder, and some one made a Modpack using my work or steal my Work and publish ist on Steam Workshop, have i any chance to get it removed? Look back in the German Community, there was a leak from the TF141(GAF) Mod in the arma2base Forum, the Link was get removed fast. But what happen, when such things happen on Steam Workshop? And don't blame me, and say that nobody would be download such leaks. I see no postivi aspect for Mods on Workshop at all. And about new Players, correct me if i am wrong, but the most new players would join a Community, that already use Mods and Updater like PWS or A3S. And i was look into the Launcher, at this Time the Launcher only Support Mods listet, that was downloaded by Workshop. Mods manual downloaded must be include during a parameter. So that's not reallly newbie friendly.

Hello i've tryed to setup the DevP but it does not work devP.rpt: http://pastebin.com/TwZVqHY4 Arma3Tools_diag_retail.rpt: http://pastebin.com/FVMmsaR0 it does not create the P Drive, and i don't know why. I have added the Logs maybe some one can gave me a hint. As Operating System, i use Windows 8.1 and UAC is deacativated.
  24. Hi, i was try to get help in the Skype Group. But maybe i can catch more help, on this Forum. I try to setup my Server to Report to WarRoom but it does not connect. The Only referenc i got is the Log from the alive.log 01.06.2014 20:04:47: Reading config file: Username: **hidden**, Group: **hidden** 01.06.2014 20:04:47: Getting your IP: 173.245.53.62 It says, my IP is 173.245.53.62, but this IP are from CloudFlare. My Server are not associated with CloudFlare and my IP is 93.186.192.47. So why the Log says, my IP is 173.245.53.62? I Use ALiVE 0.65 with the latest Arma2NET Plugin allready installed. DB Module is placed on my Mission. Hope some one can gave me a hint, what i need to do.

    LIFTER for ArmA 3

    Hello, i have got a small Problem, my Group wants to use Your Mod, but when i place the Module in my Mission, my Dedicated Server abrot during ALiVE Startup. But when i remove the Module and delte the Mod association in the mission.sqm, the Mission loads without a problem. Did you have any idea why this happens?
