    Been digging around this thread, can't find an answer. The Police units no longer work with any of the P85 weapons.

    Yeah, real scary stuff. I was playing with some friends on a private server with no respawns. We had a helicopter at a landing field and we'd all gotten in and were preparing to take off. However, the other guys playing as predators were chasing us, and they had started trying to shoot the helicopter (ineffectively at first). I left my computer for a minute, came back and everyone in the chopper was dead except for me (Some other survivors had left the heli though)

    You could go so far as to name every popular addon out there's units BluFor: NATO, UN, Chernarus, Saharani, Nogova, Takistani Militia, Afrenian Army, Japan Self Defense Forces, RACs, Lingor Army Opfor: PRSZ, Russia, Takistani Army and Insurgents, Iran, China, Molatian Army, Chedaki Insurgents Unknown/none: Predators, Undead, Zetaborn Aliens. The Predators and Zetaborn aliens arrive at Earth after a long feuded war between them. The Zetaborn aliens have come to harvest natural resources of the planet and actively assault human fronts and defenses, laying waste to both sides. The Predators, who have no interest in conflict with the humans, or Earth's resources only engage against humans when necessary but also help human forces fight against the Zetaborn aliens. The Zetaborn aliens deploy artificial viruses on human populations on the south, killing and reanimating them, hoping that they can easily swarm predators and be easier to take out. However, the Zeta forces on the ground were not equipped for virus combat and often themselves fell to it, creating a hazard for surviving forces. The Predators unique cloaking devices also made them perfectly hidden from the Undead, rendering the Undead useless in any advantage for the zetaborns. However, even with a rise in extra-terrestrial conflict, human forces are still in mind of control over the south region (Since the Zeta and Predators only deployed over the Southeast Asian regions.).

    I have no idea why, but it seems it would be very cool to see a war between CDF, US, UK, Germany and Russia, South Zagoria, Takistan and Iran.

    Speaking of weapons, I know that when a human dies/becomes infected because of a zombie, it creates a whole new unit in their position, but I think it would be neat if the zombies could retain past gear that they had (Besides weapons) like Ammo, Maps etc. Because it's very difficult to make the zombies actually have anything on them. Another idea would be to have them drop their primary (or secondary/special) weapon on the ground where they died. It just doesn't really make sense that all of the gear magically disappears from the infected (Especially things they didn't even have equipped). And do civilians attack zombies now? Because I've noticed in the past that the only way to make civilians even attempt to fight anything is to do the skimpy AI Chance 0% from something with a different faction, and they will occasionally attack things. My guess would be that it's another part of the "Smart" module?

    Well I think the idea of "Open" and closed vehicles is a really good one. And if you're open to more suggestions for the long run possibly, zombies should probably frighten civilians in vehicles more than they do. Because when I place civilians in cars, they usually just sit in there until the zombie hits the car enough and then they get out and run away. If I put waypoints, the car will stop and they will get out and then they will try and get back in and continue to their waypoint.

    I hope some day we'll see the spawner module working with zombies (So I can have the hordes it spawns migrate) and possibly a way for the zombies/undead to have any chance against vehicles (Especially heavy ones). Even a HMMWV with an m240 a good distance away can rip through an undead horde fairly quickly.
  9. If you're looking for dragon sounds for when they attack, I have a few in a folder I could send/post a link to. I also have some wing flap sounds, but I'm not sure if they are on a loop or not.

    I have not seen any news that tells me that AMD cards will work with Arma 3. They suck a lot, but I'm upset that they are only using Nvidia which means I can't physically play unless I pay the nonexistant money i have to buy a new card.

  15. Hello, I would like to know an Init (If there is one) that would cause the AI of the tank I put it in to shoot their main cannon (I don't care if it's AT or HE) at infantry units. Thanks in advance!

    What weapons/vehicles would you like to see in ArmA 3?

    The game hasn't been released, they haven't revealed everything. Second, I don't think some small groups of Spec-Ops are the only BLUFOR units in it. And there is only one BLUFOR faction as of now that they have told us, so I doubt that it's true there's no other BLUFOR factions including the US. NOT only that, but there are pictures of the Comanche, MV-22, F-35, LAV-25 and I think a Stryker so there probably will be atleast some US involvement. AND (Fifth Edit) US is part of NATO, so maybe the US will just be a category in the NATO category and it will have mini categories in it!

    Missing addon, weird, I'll look into it right now. Yes, eventually I'll add more models (From OA and A2). The next version with the Missing addon fix will also have a fix for the M60 I forgot about. Yes, this is my first release so I am not really experienced with that but I'll get into that :D ------------------------------------------------------- Edit: Ah, I see what the "Missing Addon" problem was, I removed all of the required addons but I left the quotes with nothing in it, so it was looking for a mod with no name!

    Really great mod, love it just as much(even more sometimes) than Unsung. It has great weapon variety, TONS OF VEHICLES AND STUFF. Although, you probably shouldn't have an AC-130 Placeholder, you should just leave it out until a working one is implemented.

    I did that once, it was pretty fun, I had the 82nd unit moving in on 3 ships, all disembarking about 1km apart. The Germans still had positions set up and began bombarding the eastern most landing ship, and damaged it (Only a few AI survived it). I only used the spawn module so I could tell that Russian zombies were infected Germans, who's positions had been overrun. By the time the ship I was in landed, the artillery position we had been getting shot at was overrun besides one guy in a tower who was concentrated on sniping zombies coming out of the hedges. It surprised me how fast that half the coastal defenses were overrun, as half the zeds I saw were russian (German). Of course the main HQ in the Germans in the far west had managed to hold out a couple hordes (Sustaining casualties) while the American brigade landed. Their artillery had run out of ammo and they weren't able to sink the ship, but the zombies had been able to get around the front german positions and the entire west team had been overrun. I headed towards the eastern front where only about 9 of the 30 had survived and made it to shore, I assume they were able to take the base (Because of German Bodies, which didn't get up as infected Russians.) However, only 5 of them made it. I drove the jeep back over to the western and another horde took over the Germans there, and practically all of my squad I left on the east had wandered off somewhere (I keep my hud off so I had no idea where they were, and not having a radio doesn't help.) The 5 were still standing there, but I needed to do something. I wandered off into the hedgerows, found another overrun position, however it looks like it was being held by British paratroopers, there were many dead civilians mixed around with the zombies. (I was using the French Resistance as a dumb excuse for armed civilians from the region) A few of them were alive inside the church but infected. After continuing, I found my platoon had been mowed down by a german emplacement at the northernmost town, there were survivors, but they had been overrun by the infected (I could tell because of infected USMC). The German's had still been holding out strong on the inner wall, but had no machine guns or mortars left (They had all been on the outer wall which was overrun). The men that were left didn't notice me as they were occupied with a horde, which allowed me to sneak and get in a truck of theirs. I drove it to the edge of the map (Which was undetailed at that point) and into the water, then my truck exploded. It was fun.

    Ah, so you wish to create a simulated zombie outbreak with everything handled as it would be I assume in levels. Civilians<Survivors<Police<SWAT<Military There's mods out there that have police cars and there's one for a firetruck too I believe. Also, there's plenty of Police unit mods out there. And to add on, I want to be able to use ZOMBIES from the spawn module, having only INFECTED is annoying.

    When I use the surrender module in the editor, it often seems units are more likely to surrender after their leader is dead or more units are dead, so there's a minor bit of concept in the game already :)
