Blast, I just figured out that what I found wasn't Half a CD-Key, it was the top half of a Bar code.

Thanks, though I bought it from A local store, so I guess I have to pay full price.

I read on a page for ARMA X that there was a 40% discount for people who had bought CO. "We are pleased to announce that Arma X: Anniversary Edition is now available. Customers, who bought Arma 2, Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead or Arma 2: Combined Operations (or Arma 2 and Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead), can buy an upgrade version of Arma X: Anniversary Edition on store.bistudio.com with a discount (20% for Arma 2/OA, 40% for Combined Operations)." How does one go about getting this discount? Is there an option you click on or something?

I heard about a new patch for OFP so I decided to repurchase it, but inside the box was no CD-key. I was wondering if there is any way I can get one, though I feel I should just buy it again for a different store. If you feel I may have Pirated the game and am trying to get a CD-Key then I can understand, many people have tried that. ---------- Post added at 08:21 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:52 PM ---------- I almost forgot to mention, I was able to find Half of the CD-key. I have an Intel i7 2.93 Ghz 8 gigs DDR3 dual Nvidia GTS 250's Windows 7 home 64-bit If lucky I can get up to 43 fps and it runs nice but most of the time its really jittery and I barely make it to 30 fps Game Settings View distance=2000m Texture-Very High Video Memory-default Vsync-off Object detail- normal terrain-normal anti aliasing-disabled PP-off Anisotropic-normal shadows-very high (runs better than High for me) Resolution-1280 x 1024 4:3 is it normal to get lots of lag in forests? I can run it in open fields just fine for the most part, but forests and most towns run terribly. Does it have to do with my CPU? I thought my CPU was capable of running the game well, but I guess the Ai is rather taxing?

never mind i got it solved

I was messing in the editor and set a trigger (effect: object type: tv) or something like that. and then it said there was a failure to load a texture, and now my screen is grainy several pixels on my screen will flash from purple to green.:butbut:

I had been running arma 2 on all low settings (20 fps) then I decided to see how it would run on High (no AA) with view distance on 10000. I did and now I'm getting 30 fps and the game runs alot smoother. I'm really confused by this. Does it have something to do with Arma 2's optimisation? Or is it because SLI works when I run the game on high?

I've looked around for an answer, but wasn't able to find one (I may have overlooked one) So to put it simple, does ARMA 2 support dual video cards? I hope it does, because I have dual Nvidia GTS 250's.

when ever I run ECP, I get lots of lag in-game, but I really enjoy hearing npc's shout things rather then say EVERYTHING on the radio. Is there a way to use Dynamic speaking without ECP? :confused:

Thanks, I think that Macser is correct, when I am on the preferences screen it says I have "No ram" does this have anything to do with my new hardware being incompatible with OFP?

So a few months back I was looking through some old boxes, when I found my copy of "Operation Flashpoint: Cold war crisis". I had bought it when it came out and put it in the box for storage. I guess I had forgotten about it. So as soon as I pulled it out I installed and spent hours....or umm days? maybe weeks playing the game. Even after all these years OFP:CWC is amazing

I maxed everything in OFP, I have a very good comp. but it seems I get lag in towns. (I have terrain set to normal) In the woods etc' the game runs wonderful, but in a town its just awful. PC specs: processor: intel i7 820 2.90 Ghz graphics card/s: dual Nvidia GTA 250's RAM: 8 gigs DDR3 OS: Windows home 64-bit
