  2. Hello, I need help with a script on how to limit players instant respawn to 3 per player. Not per team but per player. I have search around the forums for some script like it, but the closest I can find was norrin's limit respawn script but it was limited to per team and base respawn only (gave it a try but seem to spawn in the middle of nowhere instead) Overall, can someone help me with some kind of script that will limit each player to a maximum of 3 respawns (maybe even a spectator mode once you're out) on instant respawn
  3. Can you play on Combined Operations if you have ARMA 2 Free or not? I have both ARMA 2 & Operation Arrowhead but I'm curious if there's some kind of ARMA 2 Free lite for Operation Arrowhead to play ARMA 2 contents. From some people I heard its possible and then from others I heard you can't do it. I want to confirm whether or not it's possible or not, thanks :) (I also tried searching around but I can't seem to find my answer)

    I notice how after watching each trailer. The old rainbow six trailers are like Rainbow Six saves the day taking down all the terrorist without being fired at and are top secret organization taking down terrorist. Then on lockdown is like everything blowing up and shooting around, then Vegas 2 was like 3 guys running through a theater getting shot at then somehow kill the terrorists when they could've been dead and finally Rainbow Six patriots is like, rainbow six: Screw up where the rainbow team throw a civilian overboard. From what I remember wasn't rainbow main objective is save civilians? (From what I remember from the book if I remember right, haven't finish the book but only read a few parts in the beginning)

    I wonder why out in the real world publishers been releasing "crap" & "half-assed" stuff when teachers always been hating on how students would turn their stuff in half-assed and lecture about the importance of quality. Yes, I see people turn their homework in half-assed all the time, except in an art class (my graphics design class) I actually see some quality stuff and actually put some time to make stuff. Why can't people just make quality stuff for their enjoyment anymore and just got to be overhype on the half ass. It's not half full, it's half empty. Something is still missing in the end.

  8. I'd like a subfolder option for the MPMissions where you can throw your missions and split them in subfolders for more convenient usages of selecting missions. When you download so much, it would become a hassle to find and pick the one you want to play for the moment. For addons, I would like the ability to check and uncheck them in the game kind of like how Ghost Recon original did it.

  11. If you don't know what Terrorist Hunt is, it is a fun coop gamemode from Rainbow Six. I have made my own terrorist hunt style mission for ARMA 2 and can be found on this site. Terrorist Hunt This pack includes a template for creating terrorist hunt missions for ARMA 2 Original, ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead, ARMA 2 Combined Operations, and ARMA 2 Combined Operations with Mercs & BlackOps Addon, RH Pistols Remake, and RH SMG. Very few scripting knowledge will be required with this template because I have created a tutorial in the pack in a .pdf file with some pictures. If something I made from the tutorial is a little off or you do not get it much, sorry, but I'm pretty sure it shall be enough to help you guys create a terrorist hunt mission.   12. Np krem, I'm checking out the MBG_Killhouses thread, it sounds promising for some CQC action and would like good if I use this terrorist hunt template in. Reminds me of the CQC terrorist hunt from Vegas 2 and the Killhouse map. I hope it's done soon :D it'll be perfect for that.

    UPDATED: -New MP Parameters added to enhance your gameplay -You can now set how many bandages you want (infinite by default), set whether you want nightvision on the mission or not (on by default), set armor for you or the terrorist (the higher the more bullets they have to take in order to die) (disabled by default), set whether you want health regeneration or not and how much (disabled by default). -Some of the ammoboxes have been fixed to match the right parameters -Added lee enfield ammo to the Takistani ammo box -Tweak up some default settings for night/day and how many terrorists for some missions to even it out -Added CLY removedead on all missions to remove dead bodies to boost performance (bodies will be removed after 5 minutes to give you a little bit of time to scrap enemy's guns if you like) -removed Nightvisions on ammoboxes to correspond with the nightvision parameters -Rangefinders will be disabled if you turn off nightvision and so will any other guns with nightvision on them (this does not include guns with FLIR) (You can however steal nightvision from an enemy who has one) -removed all backpacks from units to prevent people from pulling out a satchel charge and abusing it and so people don't have too much extra spaces to put even more bullets in (if you need a backpack, steal one from a dead unit who has one) -Added one new mission FIELD DAY (Credits to cavesman for creating the maze and adding some enemies. I only added some extra enemies to the areas that didn't have much and tweaked it up for terrorist hunt) Enjoy the new update, please report any issues, bugs, or errors while I edited the missions that you have encountered. If they're major issues, I'll have to check on those right away, if its minor and can be dealt with, then it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

  16. I need help with a script I'm working on for a mission for if your unit dies, I would like the script to reactivate for that unit when it respawns. The first is some health regeneration script I found somewhere while {alive player} do { _t = time; waitUntil {time - _t > 1}; if (damage player > 0) then { _newDamage = (damage player) - 0.05; player setdamage _newDamage; }; sleep 0.05; }; The second is to make unit take lesser damage from shots which I added to the unit's init. (My guy and my AI guy) this addEventHandler ["HIT",{(_this select 0) setDamage (0 * damage (_this select 0));}]; I've been trying to test it out and if the unit dies, they won't have the ability of the script that initiate with it after spawn. Does anyone know how to make the scripts or commands reactivate after respawn? Thanks.

  19. Is it possible to make this work for all Eastern units instead of just the heli's name in the variables because I also plan on spawning more helis after each wave.
  20. I'm working on a helicopter wave missions where you survive waves of attack choppers. My question is how do you make the attack chopper fly in, target and shoot anyone they see (the players) even if they are somewhere else. If I make a waypoint with Open Fire, Engage all Target in Combat mode, they will engage players in that area but if I make the placement or completion radius too big they won't engage. I'm worry about making it too small that the players will just go the area that the helicopter wont be there so helicopter won't shoot if they don't see them. Another questions I have is, how do I turn off collision damage for the helicopters but still leave take fire damage on because if you have a lot of AI helicopters heading to one area at the same time, they will crash each other and die. Thanks.

    Mission Title: Lost Sniper Stranded Chopper Players: 1-5 Developer: Phantom Six Filename: Lost_Sniper_01.Zargabad.pbo Latest Version: 1.0 Mission Briefing: Steal a helicopter and escape Situation: A US sniper team, a British sniper team, and a lone survivor of a PMC unit was left behind on an operation in enemy's territory and they have no way of surviving left besides gathering up rations and food. They have heard of a stolen US little bird held in a Takistani military camp and plan to seize it and escape. Location: Camp site on top of a mountain on Zargabad to the North-West of the Takistani military camp. The little bird is held to the South-East side of the Takistani military camp. Features: -Ability to carry two secondary weapons (Xeno's Backpack script) -Night combat and sniping -More enemy spawn if you kill someone (can be hard) -GC Revive Required Addons: Only Operation Arrowhead Additional Notes: There may be some bugs but hopefully its playable. Mission Title: Operation Phantom Destruction Shahkar Players: 1-8 Developer: Phantom Six File Name: OpPhantom_Destruction_Shahkar.Shapur_BAF.pbo Latest version: 1.2 Final -sorry about the windows screen up, my WeGame wasn't working ingame so I couldn't take ingame screenshots so I took it with prt screen button. I also use a player civilian to test how the OPFOR were moving so that's why I didn't get shot. Mission Briefing: Objective - Team Phantom must assassinate a warlord and his son. A local independent PMC also wants you to sabotage 5 buildings and clear one area. Situation - A new warlord will rise up and unite the group of local terriosts and Takistan against the western world. You must assassinate this warlord named "Shahkar" and his son "Shahmar" before he raise an army of militias and all the terriosts against the world. - If he is not killed, Europe, Asia, the US, Russia, and this entire world will be in danger. The warlord's son must also be killed to make sure that no one succeeds him. - Alpha team will be a close quarter assault unit to deal with the threat. Bravo team will be 2 night operators to support alpha team with farther range targets with TWS scopes. - A local PMC has been here and will let you borrow their SUVs for equipments to carry out your mission, but in return, they want you to destroy an enemy HQ, 2 light factories, 2 heavy factories, and clear one area. Local PMC also gave you info that there are a couple AA units around your future extraction point and should be dealt with before the chopper arrives. - The enemy does not know we are here, but there are a lot of them patroling around areas. Shahkar was said to be having a private meeting with troops and assume that no one is tailing him. Go in silent and kill him. - 3 tanks are said to be patroling around the military base. 1 APC is said to be patroling around the oil facility. There are a couple cars driving around the streets. Location: Shahmar last known location is at the oil storage facility. Shahkar's last known location is in the military base. The area you must clear is southeast of the oil storage facility. There is a light vehicle factory in both military base and oil facility, heavy vehicle factory in oil facility and military base. The enemy HQ is said to be next to Shahkar. Features: -good for small coop groups to play with -night ops missions.
