  5. Sickboy Seems like cba is breaking save games. Game will save but not load after.

    @A3MP - ArmA 3 Map Pack

    I can't "savegame" when using your mod! It saves but when you load it will just spawn a camera where player was last saved. Edit: its not your mod that is breaking savegame...its CBA.
  7. I did not mean to bash you or anything! I was only talking about your "script" not you, because Naught script is similar on having the leader not being cached but the rest of the squad! Naught big thanks for the fix! gonna try it now! Happy new year for you guys! ;) Edit: 1017 still has the same problem as before.

I did some more tests all in the same mission: The good: -arma 3 hide/show cache system i will get 160 fps - cB AI Unit Caching from Wolffy i will get 145 fps -Yours i will get 175 fps!Very nice! The bad: -If i put 10 groups of 10 soldiers each, i will have 100 soldiers! with your cache system i only have to kill the leaders (10 soldiers) instead of all the 100 soldiers! Because the cache only seems to work if the group leader is alive otherwise stop caching. Kill the leader and move away from spawn zone all the units will disappear and wont appear again.
  9. I wanna see AI caching just for testing. And i set it to a "GLOBAL_SPAWN_DISTANCE" and caches fine but when i kill the leader and move away so it caches again the group wont respawn anymore. I will do more tests tomorrow.
  10. Its not working on arma 3. I placed a unit player and a squad 1100 meters away and i can still see the whole squad. Is there a way to change the cache distance?

    Looks nice! But please don't use default sound! And i think JSRS does not overrides the default (vanilla) sounds on custom weapons! There is a couple mods out there with default sound that JSRS does not override it. And he probably has a scar sound from arma 2 jsrs. Talk to him!

    Looks sick! Some of the best missions i played arma 2 were in small islands like Aliabad-Region! Now you will be bringing something similar to arma 3!

    Multiplayer not in playable state

    Its better but not ideal! Arma 2 got to a point where pvp was almost as good as the player on empty map on the editor. I remember playing arma 2 pr with a 100 players on a pc 3 generations older than the one i have now and getting solid 60fps vsync on. Arma 3 pvp i only get 30-45 with 40 players, where in SP i get solid 60 fps vsync on.

    http://steamcommunity.com/app/107410/discussions/0/864971765636387432/ I found this when googled "arma 3 win 8.1" Everywhere i check says performance is about the same on 7,8,8.1 but on 8.1 everybody says is smoother in pretty much every game! I thinking to change to it from 7 64.
  18. Arma 2/3 is a cpu/ram overclock whore game! GPU oc does not effect that much.

  20. What i wanna to know was if you could just add the modules and set up a base and everything would just happened! But i got my answer on ALIVE facebook: "ALiVE - Advanced Light Infantry Virtual Environment Note: Photos taken WITHOUT manual placement of both group spawning markers and individual units. It's purely automatic spawning. Impressive, huh?" This makes the mission extremely random what is the best thing for arma 3! I am tired of making missions on the editor where when i play it i know pretty much everything that is going to happen. That's why mso is the best! Because you have know clue of what's is going to happen. So "It's a bit more complex than just setting up a base" if you want it to be! otherwise i think is just setting up a base and adding the modules and you are good to go!

Will alive work kinda like mso, where you just set up a Base (add the modules) and MSO/Alive populates everything not having to place markers where you wanna enemies to spawn, so you can just drive around with no objectives just for a patrol not knowing where enemies will be? Super random?Or you have to set up everything? And about unit mods, like all the massi units and etc..?Will it be supported? Bigs thanks for the mod in advanced!
  22. This...pisses me off! I tested and all the weapons and units looks very good!The weapons actually are some of the best out there in my opinion, only the sound could be changed. You should ask jsrs for some sounds! the rest is really good!Big thanks! Keep up the good work and don't bother yourself with people like that! Foxhound you should delete that from this Thread. Aplion deserves better than that!
