In your situation I'd only keep the case, HDD and maybe the PSU when it's a good one. I'd swap everything else - mainboard, RAM, CPU, GPU. That rig is really dated.

hacking devices and similar can only be loaded on walruses in combination with light weapons and light armor. Although I agree that it would be nice to have an indication if the combination you want to have is compatible before you equip the unit.

You can already do this afaik. At least I always steer the carrier around when I shell the enemy carrier with the carrier weapons.

Sounds like your laptop is over-heating. I've played on a Laptop for 2 years before I got my desktop and I often had similar problems. Especially with newer games. Using thermal packs to cool the laptop sometimes solved the problem^^

I still buy physical copies of games whenever possible even if that means buying a game twice. I have (untouched) retail copies of Take On Helicopters and Arma 2: Reinforcements here on my Desk and I think I will order a retail copy of CC and Arma 3 too if possible.

I agree with Mr. Charles. I like the mantas very much. I usually go with light armor, ammo box, gatling gun and rockets... Works really well. One hit with a rocket usually kills everything you can find on the ground and the gatling gun is awesome against mantas and even quite usefull vs ground targets. I still find this game not easy. It's very challenging. I struggle the most against the other carrier - only destroyed it once and that was damn close. It can be quite hard to keep the supply lines up when you're under pressure. I obviously never played the original (I was born in '88^^) so this is something completely new to me. And I really enjoy it so far.

I also have problems with the mouse in the main menu. It's really annoying even though the worst things are fixed after reducing videosettings. Else, I quite like it! And of course: Dat soundtrack! I'm listening to it since I got up this morning:

As others mentioned before, the FM was developed together with real Hind pilots who were impressed by the outcome and to me as an amateur the FM feels very convincing. I don't think at all that it feels light - to me it feels like a heavy machine with a lot of power. However, when I mess around with my sensitivity I can make every helicopter in TOH feel (very) light and oversensitive. As Max Power already mentioned - from all I read the Hind is very difficult to control in slow flight and hover and that's exactly how this bird handles - very difficult at slow speeds but incredibly stable once you get past a certain speed. It's not the FM but the taxiing that feels a little off to me in some situations - sometimes it feels more like drifting than rolling but maybe that's just me...

It really sounds like auto-hover tbh. I don't experience anything like this unless I accidentally engage autohover (happened once for me). Would you care to make a short video?

As I understand it you will only be able to use Arma 2 stuff if you have a copy of Arma 2 installed, so no Arma stuff for those who don't own A2

Sorry, but I don't get it. You can disable the 2D PiP and once you did it will be disabled until you enable it again (even if you play another mission). So I really don't see the point in voting for it. It's an option. See here:

Did you have problems with Video Memory on Default or why is it on Very High? Usually Default setting will give you the best performance if there aren't any problems with it (default generally uses video memory better than very high). BTW I wouldn't want to play TOH with only 3500m VD. I'm using 12000m on South Asia, ~8000m on Seattle and ~6000m on Chernarus. Obviously I never get framerates as high as you. usually around 30fps on Seattle, 40fps on SA and 25-30fps on Chernarus.
